I'm loving Clair Obscur!

It's such a pretty game with beautiful and beautifully haunting music, and the characters have a bounty of presence and personality. Combat is fun, and parrying, dodging, and jumping work well once you get used to the timing.

I absolutely love that this game is doing as well as it is!

I'm loving this game! It is incredibly pretty, it runs well, the controls are responsive, and the quality-of-life upgrades are very welcome. I can't wait to explore everything Wilds has to offer!

Update: at nearly 300 hours, Wilds is among my favorite games to come out in the past year. I've earned all the achievements and kept up with the events and updates. Everything I've played has been incredibly fun. The fights are so good, and that holds true running with NPCs or other players.

Fortunately, I haven't had any gameplay issues or issues running the game beyond initially loading into the game and having the textures load across the first two or three seconds.

I can't wait to see what Capcom does with the game in the coming months and years, and I'm so ready for meaner monsters and bigger challenges.

Avowed feels like an old friend visiting after a long time away. The setting is so familiar after playing the Pillars of Eternity CRPG games. There's a lot to see and do, and you're rewarded for taking the initiative to explore off the beaten path. This is such a pretty game, too, and it plays really well.

Yet, I'm not sold on the ranger companion--he's way too distant to feel like part of the group--and the scarcity of resources and ability points means you need to stick to a character concept and only upgrade the weapons and armor that you intend to use for most of the game.

Combat feels really good, though. Dodging and parrying are fun and immediate. Spells can wreak havoc or lock down enemies to give you some breathing room. Ranged weapons with the time dilation perk are incredibly fun. Avowed creates a really nice playground for combat, and there are plenty of fights to find. This is a finite grind, though, so once you clear a mob, it does not respawn, so you cannot grind XP or resources.

I really like this title, and I think Obsidian did a wonderful job with it! Kudos to the dev team, and I can't wait to see what more they do with both this title and their future projects. I really hope we get to see more of Eora.

Early Access Review
I feel like I'm an outlier here. I didn't play more than an hour of POE, and I've been pretty happy with Diablo 4. I bought EA access to POE2 because it seemed fun and I wanted to try it, and I really like it.

The gameplay feels deliberate. I enjoy having to use space and carefully consider my options before I really commit to pulling a mob. Bosses feel dangerous (and are!), but as with Elden Ring, there are windows of opportunity to punish bosses. Unlike with D4, you cannot simply spam attacks and face-tank all the hits, and again, I really like that!

I've only had one shader compilation-related crash in 7 hours, and I've had zero issues with the game outside that with all options as high as they can go. Also, i really appreciate how well controllers are implemented, and there haven't been any issues using an Elite 2.

I'm eager to explore more of the game and see how the challenges evolve. For now, it's a fun exploration of a game that willingly punishes carelessness. I like how the game plays, how it looks, how it sounds, and how it moves you through its space with a good pacing of threats and challenges while rewarding thoroughness by way of equipment caches.

I came into this game expecting a fun mess. I found a fun game with no mess. Granted, I am playing after Microsoft rolled back Win11 updates and after Patch 4 that negated forced stealth gameplay. What I found is a fun game that looks really good, is responsible, has great sound and controls, and hasn't had any issues so far. Plus, the characters are really fun!

I bought Gris a while ago and let it exist in my library, untouched but not forgotten. I didn't know when I'd play it, but I kept it installed all the same.

Today, I woke to bad news, and the day only became darker and weightier from there. I cried. I tried to process my emotions. And I loaded Gris for the first time. This is exactly the experience I needed. I felt each emotion along this game's journey, and it became a wonderful way to process my own emotions. I make it through the game in just under 5 hours, and this is a beautiful game. It reminds me of Journey in so many ways, but where Journey felt grand, Gris felt really personal.

Rather than explain all the ways this game is amazing, I encourage you to make your way through it when you're ready and to know the controls, the pacing, and the challenge are all intuitive. You're going to be okay ♥

I'm a huge fan of the series and its fiction, and I'm really enjoying DA:V. It feels like a blending of ideas from the previous games, it looks great, plays well, and explores new places. For me, it's a great purchase and a fun game!

The best advice I can give is to grab a frame, dive in, and start getting lost in everything that is and will be this game.

You'll be frustrated. You'll get angry. You'll want to never play again. But you'll keep coming back.

I've finished the game on PS4, and I bought it again on PC to play with mods.

This is one of the best games I've played. The writing and voice acting are amazing, the characters are fantastic, the vistas and fights are enthralling, and the story is really well done. Both DLCs are excellent. Really, I can only sing the praises of Witcher 3 and CDPR.
