In a world with slop appealing to the lowest common denominator, Expedition 33 (the name makes sense later) is an incredible testament to the timelessness of JRPGs. Between this and Plague Tale, I'm beginning to reevaluate my feelings towards the French. Thank you.

I got my money's worth already 6 hours in. Picked up all three games in the Total War: Warhammer trilogy for a little over twenty bucks... can't beat that. No way would I pay $180 for all of them, though.

Fun game with great graphics. Bolters feel like bolters, unlike in Space Marine II.

This is a fun game. I don't tend to like roguelike games and I wouldn't classify this as one, but kind of a weird base-building / maze game. Hard to fit into a box. It's a great game that's well worth the low asking price.

Impressive game, even for newcomers to the BlazBlu franchise (like me). BlazBlue is a fighting franchise from the makers of Guilty Gear, but it's ported into a 2D roguelike with similarities to Hades. Highly recommend. It's fun and challenging without getting old. Graphics are great and it runs on low end computers.

Edit #3: strongly recommend since the developers reversed some nerfs and are addressing others.

Edit #2: crashing has been fixed for me, but the constant nerfing of guns under the guise of balance isn't fun anymore. I bought the first four or so battle passes or whatever they're called, and the guns just aren't good or enjoyable. Why do I keep spending money on weapons that aren't good? And if they were decent, like the JAR-5, they'll get nerfed eventually. I don't understand Arrowhead.

Edit: unfortunately can no longer recommend this game until the major bugs are fixed. I and many others are crashing virtually every match (and I can't even join matches because of crashes), and there's no update from devs on a fix. It's painful. Can't recommend until they get it fixed, which they will.

Liberty. Democracy. Family Values. Whoever doesn't recommend this game is treasonous.

I've played CS since the 1.5 days, and played CS Source competitively in CAL (remember that?). I took seven year break from Source due to work... then in 2015 I picked up CS:GO for about a month, enjoyed it, then had to hit the road for work again. Fast forward to 2024 and I try CS2... and I'm disappointed to see the state the game is in. There are so many problems, but the largest problems were introduced with CS2. Why fix what isn't broken?

What bothers me most -- besides the buggy hitboxes, the inexplicable connection issues, the inability to MUTE other players, and the rampant cheaters -- is the pathetic "competitive cooldown" rule. I played a 5v5 game and two of my teammates disconnected, and the other two left. It was just me versus 5 players on the enemy team. I couldn't vote to surrender, and I couldn't leave without being penalized. So not only was I "forced" to play against five people, but five people were "forced" to play against me. I managed to get an ace on the first round of me playing solo, so I decided to leave on a high note. The result? Receiving a competitive cooldown for seven days. Absolutely ridiculous.

And this is emblematic of everything wrong with CS2: low-hanging easy fixes are ostensibly deprioritized or ignored completely. In lieu of any reliable anti-cheat software, why not run a script that looks for insane KDR ratios of steam accounts less than seven days old combined with user-submitted cheating reports? Data is used for everything from credit risk to military planning, so there's no reason Valve can't use it for banning cheaters.

There's absolutely no excuse to not have a mute feature for certain players. The inability to pull up user profiles in game is also shameful. Total regression in all aspects.
