You missed the bus, it's too late now.

It would be difficult to recommend this to anyone unless:
-You're an extremely devoted fan of PM's prior works and wish to see their world-building continued in Limbus.
-You've got tons of money to waste. And/Or LOTS AND LOTS of time.
-You don't mind that this is a gacha above all alse - not a traditional game. It will gouge you for money.
-Edit: Ignoring all the above, you wish to take a casual journey into PM's world and play for fun, if you aren't the completionist type, which should minimize any money spent.

Not to say it's a terrible game, they're doing a surprisingly decent job, but unless you meet the above requirements, this isn't for you. Only players who started early are able to keep playing while spending mimum money (10-15 bucks) on it 2-4 times a year.

---

To explain in further detail... The game keeps bloating, and continually adds new mechanics that make it harder and harder for any new players to be able to get their foot through the door without either paying a lot of money, or wasting a LOT of time, in even more specific detail:

-The extraction pool of characters/IDs gets more diluted the more gets added. Useful characters become harder to obtain. Now announcers also dilute the pool, serving no gameplay purpose but obstructing much-needed Identities (IDs) by replacing them randomly and turning into duplicate currency.
Edit: Might be wrong about the announcers. Maybe. Gotta look into that further.

-To add to that, Extractions are 100% random. Only the "banners" control if something has enhanced odds of appearing. This means any IDs you require/would help to have may never show up if your luck is awful, whereas any regular game would ensure you have the minimum needed to beat the scenario ahead.
(On that note, do NOT go for E.G.O extractions, that's a scam. The increased odds are for any IDs/E.G.O's you recieve to be the ones in the banner, it doesn't raise the odds of getting said ID/E.G.O. They're only flashy special attacks, anyway. Mostly (some are good).)

-The is no system to allow for players to catch up easily or cheaply. At best there's a new-player banner for some extractions, but it's limited.
Edit: Seems you can pick a few things to start with, but not sure if that'll be enough.

There is also a "Support" system where other players can share their characters/IDs to friends, but it is flawed. The shared IDs will be overlevelled, having you end up with lvl 50 IDs on what would be level 10-30 at best early on - there is no level cap in play, completely ruining the experience most people get from playing PM's games as intended. And sadly, the Support IDs only work on story battles, to my knowlege. Not any of the constant grind content.

-The inability to get (reliably, atleast) some necessary IDs will ensure certain tough encounters in chapters 5 and beyond will roadblock you until you give up and spend money to gamble on IDs you'd almost need (which is unreliable), or pray you can borrow the overlevelled ID(s) you need from a friend.

-As the game continues, PM seeks to obtain more money (under the excuse of using said money to fund new non-gacha games), and they increase their predatory practices. I'm told this gacha is almost saintly compared to other ones in the business, and very generous, but that will only last so long. They've diluted pools with announcer drops, they've added a 1-week delay before you can Dispense IDs/E.G.O's as psychological trick on the weak, they've added "Walpurgis", a event/banner that appears every 3-4 months where the newest content cannot be Dispensed and you have to wait or Extract (gamble for) it. This will escalate over time.

-I mentioned Dispensing IDs/E.G.O's. This is one of the mercies the gacha provides by letting you accumulate "Shards" to buy out an ID or E.G.O outright. Primarily by levelling up your pass beyond it's maximum level (EX), getting 1-3 shards per level-up.
(Free users only get 1 per level, those who bought the pass get 3. Buying the pass lasts until the current in-game "season" ends, then you have to buy it again. This lasts 4-6 months in general. It's the most cost-effective way to grind IDs. This is why I said you needed a LOT of time, because this is a slow process. Or a lot of money to buy Lunacy (for Extractions) outright.)

-After all I said, there is no realistic means of "catching up" fast. There's no "hey, buy this old content for 10 bucks" set of packs for prior seasons and/or their contents, You can try and spend like 50 bucks on Lunacy and do like 50-100 "Extractions" for the chance to get 1-3 good 000-tier IDs you need/want, but that's about it. It's extremely cost-ineffective. You'd be wasting a monthly salary to catch up fast. (I could be wrong, though, I don't check the """micro"""transaction store out a lot, maybe they sell guaranteed IDs at your pick now. Expect it to be pricey, though.)
(The game does like to flaunt it's in-game earnable "guaranteed 000" tickets, but it's a Catch-22. You need powerful IDs to beat powerful foes to then (maybe) get powerful IDs. They always end up as a waste.)

---

In the end, I'll still be playing this until even veterans like me get tired of PM getting greedy and eventually doing something utterly inexcusable for the sake of gouging money out of people. All this comes from someone who's a huge fan of their games. They've managed to have interesting world-building, a challenging but fair difficulty level where you can work your way up and it feels like an achievement, and generally fun gameplay. A little buggy at times, though, but fun! (So... Buggy...)

So well... Either try to have fun, or stay away if you're feeling too vulnerable for something like this.

Not a good idea to buy this game anymore. Simply put: the current developers STOLE CONTENT players paid for. Removing it from the game without consent (or warning). Who says they won't do it again? And modding it back is difficult/impossible for a multiplayer-focused game (if you want to keep playing online).

This isn't even a matter of copyright like GTA games and music forcing their hand. They (whoever runs the game now) themselves decided to straight up remove an announcer and literal art from an art book (and presumably the in-game art gallery too). Amongs other forms of censorship for sexual or politically correct reasons.

There's a whole laundry list of stolen (removed) content, but the most important ones that come to mind are...
- Stolen announcer (Soviet announcer).
- Stolen artwork from the seperately bought digital artbook (and presumably the in-game art gallery, too).
- Removed/rewritten story due to political correctness & censorship (Big Band's backstory, other story art).
- Crude edits to remove "panty shots" (that cause more harm and graphical/palette glitches then good).

The forums may have a more comprehensive list on the matter, why this is all occuring, and who is the culprit, but I'm just here to warn you that you should consider not giving your money to a bunch of plain and simple thieves.

Not to say the game itself is bad, if it werent for the fact it was run by thieves, it's still the best Indie-PC fighting game out there that is very keyboard-friendly and one of the few where you don't have to struggle against the controls. Though you will be getting yourself caught in a lot of infinite* combos if you dare go online.
(* Not truly infinite, but you're basically forced into a quick game of rock-paper-scissors and if you guess wrong, you go for another round in the Combo train.)

---

General:

Well, officially no matter what I'd say, the rating is negative to reflect the awful way the devs treat the players. Less officially, I still cannot entirely think of this DLC in a positive way. The simplest reason being that it's a singular, overpowered unit.

---

Cuties (4HP, 0* ATK / 0* DEF / +1 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: When entering battle, randomly raise either ATK or DEF by +1. Can only choose Stars Norma. Gain X additional Stars from Bonus Panels where X is the number of different Event Cards played.)

The 'Cuties' (Sham & Sora working as a duo), are a passive unit, who use either Sora's stats or Sham's stats when battling. In addition, their Hyper allows them to, at the cost of 10 x (their level) stars, to go into "Live Mode".

When active, "Live Mode" makes them untargetable by Boost Cards and they cannot be challanged to battle normally, in addition a 2-tile wide area of effect becomes active, where any unit who ends their turn in that radius is forced to give (Cuties' level) x 5 stars to them.

Pros:
-Reasonably durable statline.
-Hyper pays out extremely easily and heavily, and allows them to escape.
-Income boost from Event Cards cannot be nullified or prevented.

Cons:
-May need Card Pack DLCs to get the most out of their income boost passive.

Feedback:
So, there's some problems with this character. Firstly, there is no way to negate the income boost they get when using Event Cards (though it may have been nerfed from "X stars from all sources" to "X stars from Bonus Panels").

Secondly, that hyper is insane. Stealing (their level) x 5 means no matter how rich or poor the foe is, they are both stripped naked. It's like Disney lawers on steroids! And it is very easy to simply get a opponent to pay you twice to at the very least make up the Stars you've spent activating it. And some maps just make it way too easy to force everyone to pay up.

Suggestions:
-Remove the bonus income.
And...
-Hyper steals 5 x (enemy level).

If the steal rate was based on the enemy, not the Cuties, it would be more fair overall. The rich would be affected more greatly while the poor have to pay less. This makes it harder to use the hyper by going from "just use it on anyone" to "use it on the richest enemy/enemies only".

Oh, and here's a "fun" fact. That 5 x (enemy level) idea? It happed as a glitch! Guess how fast THAT got fixed...

---

General:

Officially I cannot give this DLC a positive rating, due to the misconduct of the developers (see above). But on a personal level, I'd say go for it. It's not too shabby. There's been better DLCs, but also far, faaar worse ones. So if ya want a (kinda crazy) pretty boi or total phycho girl, this may be the DLC for you.

Reika acts as a bully that specializes in (and is forced to pick) Star Normas, while Shifu is a HP Tank with robot minions.

---

Shifu (8HP, 0 ATK / -2 DEF / 0 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: Deal +2 battle damage when facing wild Robo-Balls. When Wild Robo-Balls defeat other players, gain 1 WIn.)

Shifu is a (probably crazy) mastermind with robotic minions at his disposal who can effortlessly dispose of robotic minions (Wild Robo-Balls), and can also send them off to hinder his enemies via his hyper, and gain Wins if they KO enemy players.

His hyper lays Invasion traps on all Home Tiles and ensures the next two enemies that players will encounter in battle (from Encounter Tiles or otherwise) will be his robotic minions (Robo-Balls), whom will also gain +1 ATK during that fight.

Pros:
-HP Tank (sturdy, but not Boss-proof).
-Deterrent (can strike hard with 0 ATK & high HP letting him guarantee survival).
-Can somewhat farm Wins via hyper & Wild Robo Balls KOing players.

Cons:
-Needs to heal a lot to survive well due to -2 DEF.
-Not the easiest to play (likely need some Card Pack DLCs to get the most outta him).

Feedback: He's neat, though his hyper is kind of useless for most part. It's pricey and not great at stopping enemies, thus ussually it is better as fodder for Mimic instead.
To play him well you really should stock up on Puddings, Portable Pudding, Quick Restoration, and ideally Reverse Attribute Field and Serious Battle.

---

Hoshino Reika (3HP, +2 ATK / 0 DEF / 0 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: Can only choose Star Norma. Gain +1 stars from all sources except her hyper and start-of-chapter bonuses.)

Reika is (presumably) Star Breaker before going fully insane and becoming Star Breaker. A fierce attacker even in her Pre-Star Breaker phase, who hits hard but is very fragile.

She specializes in star-gain and can use her hyper to gain even more stars. On use, for 3 chapters whenever another player gains stars, deduct the incoming stars by (your) level and gain stars equal to (your) level. Basically income taxes.

Pros:
-Powerful bully.
-Potent star-gatherer.

Cons:
-Fragile (thus, cannot hold her stars easily, or for long).

Feedback: Her fragility and the fact she is forced to pick Star Normas makes her considerably weak. She can earn stars through a lot of means, but she easily loses it the moment someone rolls 4 or higher to insta-KO her, due to her low HP making her fragile and luck-based.

So yeah... She can't hold onto the stars she can quickly farm, only making things harder for her when KO'd and having them stolen from her.

Suggestions:
-Give her base +1 EVD & 4 REC.
Or...
-Cannot gain Wins, but whenever gainingWins, gain 10 stars per Win instead.

(Hard pick, but I like the latter, lets her earn more stars, but makes it risky since it's earned in battle.)

---

General:

I want to recommend this DLC but I can't, for stupid design reasons, and of course because of the devs doing the usual banning, review hiding, etc, scummy stuff.

Mescal serves as a hard-to-kill unit who specializes in strong counter-attacks with minion support, while Malt is a strategist with powerful stats but some drawbacks.

---

Mescal (4HP, 0 ATK / +1 DEF / +1 EVD, 5 REC)
(Mescal: 50% chance that when challanged to battle, the enemy has to fight Pirate Crew Member instead. Has a 3-turn cooldown before it can re-activate if KO'd.)
&
Pirate Crew Member (NPC) (2HP, +1 ATK / -1 DEF / -1 EVD):
(Pirate Crew Member: Gives 1 Win and no stars on KO. If defeated by this unit, gives all the lost stars to Mescal.)

Mescal is like father like daughter, inheriting her father's powerful counter-attack ability and support from his Pirate Crew. She can use her hyper to gain +1 ATK and further gain ATK equal to the damage she takes, for powerful counter-attacks.

Pros:
-Hard to kill (pirates can interevene).
-Deterrent (her hyper is a powerful counter).

Cons:
-Not strong on offence (when initiating battle).

Feedback: All said and done, she's alright, nothing too bad about her. She's great on defence, but don't expect her to be overly good on offence, as she has no pirate support when challenging nor can gain more then +1 ATK from her hyper when going first, making her hyper at it's strongest on defence.

Also for fun, consider bringing "Pet Snacks". They bolster Wild Unit's stats with +1/+1/+1. (Man, I know pirates are a rough bunch, but "Wild Units"? They're not animals, man! :P)

---

Malt (5HP, +1 / +1 / +1, 6 REC):
(Passive: Cannot challange other players to battle. Gives 3 Wins when KO'd. Can use Combat Cards (that do not have special requirements/costs to use) to place them down on the field for free. If activated, the activator has to battle Malt and both units recieve the effect of the Combat Card, no cards may be played in that battle.)

Malt is a powerful Boss-like unit that acts as a strategist and a dangerous presence in the background on the board. His hyper can also interfere with others by turning all Bonus and Card panels into Encounter Panels for (his level) x 1 chapters, and while active if any unit passes a combat-trap he has laid down, they are forced to stop and activate it.

Pros:
-High statline deters most enemies from attacking.

Cons:
-Extremely hard to play well (very complicated playstyle).
-Requires card packs to play acceptably.
-Inability to challange players makes him unable to take advantadge of many things.

Feedback:
#1 - For a "Boss" unit (I mean, he gives 3 Wins, and has beefy stats), he's still quite weak. He will get chipped down to low HP easily by NPC encounters.

#2 - He has no ability to challange foes directly, nor does his hyper aid him notably in doing so. He is entirely dependant of triggering battle through his Traps. This would be fine, if he could atleast bloody draw more trap/combat cards in some fashion. Right now he's incredibly card-starved, and a few stray traps are not likely to produce the same level of oppertunity as the average unti who can attack at will.

#3 - Speaking of, his Combat Traps... Does he have to go second for all of these, AND share the effect with his attacker? This makes almost all Combat Cards non-viable to use as a trap. The only notable ones that could benefit him as far as I can see would be I'm On Fire (still risky), Rainbow-Coloured Circle, Sink or Swim, and Dark Side of Business. Honestly, you're better off packing an Ambush trap instead!

Suggestions: (Several sets of suggestions, infact.)
#1: > Gain x2 cards from all sources. Draw a card if none was drawn for 4 Chapters.
#2: > Base HP is 6. Only malt recieves the effect of Combat Traps, and no-one may play cards.
#3: > Base Stats are +2 ATK / +2 DEF / +1 EVD.

Personally, I'd favour #1, #3 is a second choice. Can't "plan" much if you have no cards to "plan" and take action with...

General:

Well, I can neither officially or unofficially recommend the DLC with how poorly the devs treat players and their own game. And due to how immensely overpowered this Fernet is, whereas Hime is a tad lacking (but far from terrible, atleast).

(And I do mean Fernet is overpowered. Like, 3rd place in most powerful. With Mio on 2nd place and Poppo at 1st, as they just can't help but make their annoying mascot overpowered.)

Hime is a fragile evasion-based unit who specializes in reflecting damage back at her enemies, while Fernet is a HP tank that can drain the stars of other players.

---

Hime (Moonlight) (5HP, +1 ATK / -2 DEF / +2 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: During "Full Moon" (every 5th chapter), base stats become -1/-1/+3.)

Hime is a fragile evasion-based unit who specializes in dodging her foes attacks and reflecting their damage back at them. Her hyper is a combat card that once active, lets her reflect damage she avoids back at her enemy. If she is in "Full Moon" mode she deals double damage with this, but cannot choose the Defend command.

Pros:
-Good at evasion & dealing with -1 ATK enemies.
-Anti-tank.
-Able to catch up via hyper.

Cons:
-Extremely fragile.
-Quite luck-based.

Feedback: On paper she is alright. But in reality her fragility combined with her goal to pick Star Normas means she is quite weak. She just can't hold onto any stars with how fragile she is. But at the very least her hyper is useful to KO enemies with to steal their stars.

---

Fernet (Noble) (6HP, -1 ATK / +1 DEF / -1 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: Players must pay their level X stars to challange you to battle.)

Fernet is a lightweight Tank with a lot of HP that can take a lot of damage, with powerful star-gathering abilities in passive and hyper. Her hyper has two functions.
Basic function: Each enemy player has either their ATK, DEF or EVD lowered next time they enter battle. Can also be transformed into Affluence.

Affluence (X): If this card is not Affluence (4), it can be upgraded by paying 10 times X stars. (First 10, then 20, then 30, and then 40, roughly a total of 100 Stars.) If it is, then on use all players must battle you in a random order, they lose -3 ATK during that battle and Fernet may not counter-attack, if they fail to KO her she steals 10 x (their) level stars from them at the end of battle. This generally yields +- 50 stars in profit.

Pros:
-HP Tank & DEF Tank.
-Above-average star gatherer.

Cons:
-None.

Feedback:

#1 - The 'Star gap' generated by this isn't 50, it's 100! Think about it, she doesn't just gain 50 stars and calls it quits. No, she takes (upto) 50 stars from you, too! So you're now 100 stars apart when comparing eachother. (Or something close to that, if her enemies aren't all at level 5.)

#2 - If this was just a star generator, this wouldn't be so bad. But as it stands, this doesn't just enhance Fernet's position, it lowers everyone else's, too. It's a immense gap she strikes between herself and the rest. You simply lose 50 stars, and have to recuperate your losses or try to earn them back by force, giving Fernet plenty of time to use her giant haul of loot to win before you do.

#3 - Her "drawbacks" and "costs" are easily bypassed with President's Privilege, meaning its not 100 stars you'll be spending, but moreso something along the lines of 40, 50 or at most 60-ish stars. Needless to say, this can boost her earnings up to 100ish or so stars, which is half the amount you need to win! And even if her gains are small, you still lose a lot on your end.

#4 - Her stats are remarkably high for a tank + star generating unit. I honestly expected her to have -2 EVD from memory, but was dismayed to find out it was a mere -1! It's not to say all tanks have bad EVD, but they ussually don't have star-gathering hypers or passives to balance that out, either, so yeah...

#5 - A counter the devs expected to "balance her out" where cards like Gift Exchange, Scrambled Eve, or other cards that forcefully remove her hyper. Thing is, they are NOT effective counters. Firstly, almost no-one brings Gift Exchange or Scrambled Eve (often since it'd disrupt their own strategies, and they cannot read other players minds and know they're about to face Fernet). Secondly, trap-based discard effects are EXTREMELY unreliable at destroying her hyper as she builds it up. Thirdly, this leaves the only occasional counter to her to be Reverse Attribute Field.

She is so broken, I'm honestly at a loss on how she could be fixed without a total redesign. Characters like her makes me wish OJ had a blacklist for characters you do not wish for other players or the AI to ever use in your lobby. If they can't fix their ♥♥♥♥, why can't we atleast choose what crap we put up with!?

General:

Officially, as much as I like the DLC, I cannot recommend it due to the devs' awful actions. Which is a shame because unofficially, I'd very much recommend the DLC, even if it does need some work, still (Lone Rider is a wee bit on the OP side).

Merchant is a all-rounded unit who specializes in paying off players to avoid fights and making profits, while Lone Rider specializes entirely in speed.

---

Merchant (5HP, 0 ATK / 0 DEF / 0 EVD, 6 REC):
(Passive: Can hold 4 Cards. Gain a "Freight" card when landing on another players' home.)
(Freight (battle card): Can only be used on defence. On use, if the opponent uses no battle card, ends the battle. Then gives this card to the opponent. If you land on your home while this is in hand, discard this card and gain 5 Stars.)

Merchant is a passive, well-rounded unit that specializes in star gain and survival by paying off players attacking you. His hyper has two functions. On field: Gain Freight cards equal to current level. In Battle: Gain ATK equal to Freight Cards in hand.

Pros:
-Above-average star gatherer.
-Above-average at survival, too.

Cons:
-Takes a while to revive due to 6 REC.

Feedback: While he can enhance his ATK with his hyper, doing so is difficult and rare, its rare to ever really have the resources to do it, and you're better off focusing on offloading Freight for extra stars. Not sure if he deserves the 6 REC, though.

---

Lone Rider (5HP, 0 ATK / 0 DEF / -1 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: If your MOV roll is higher then 6, gain +1 ATK, +1 DEF & +2 EVD until the start of your next turn.)

Lone Rider specializes in moving fast and exploiting his momentum by escaping or catching foes. His hyper grants him 2 stacks of Upshift (maximum of 6).
Upshift's effect is: Gain MOV equal to stacks, but lose 1 stack if you end your turn before using up all your movement points.

Pros:
-God of speed (hard to catch, can easily catch you).
-Powerful statline when going fast.

Cons:
-Hyper can be a bit expensive.

Feedback: So, he's neat on paper but the devs haven't fully realized the power of enhanced MOV, as it lets him race home faster, catch weak foes, always escape from enemy players, and increases his odds of being able to land on a positive panel. He's been nerfed several times before but he's almost there.

Suggestions:
-Upshift: Lose half stacks (rounded up) if you end your turn prematurely.
And...
-No longer lose stacks of Upshift if you're forced to end your turn prematurely (like dead-ends).

General:

Well, officially I can't give this a positive rating after all the devs did (and still keep doing) to harm people. Unofficially, it's difficult to recommend this too, with how Cook is fairly poorly designed and broken.

Halena serves as a sturdy passive unit with some star-gathering ability, while Cook is a fragile speedster with the highest natural evasion so far.

---

Halena (5HP, -1 ATK / +1 DEF / +1 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: Gain [your level] x 2 stars when landing on your own home.)

She is a passive unit with great defensive abilities but little offence, she specializes in survival and safely travelling back Home. Her hyper is an effect that stays active until she reaches her own Home or has less then 5 Stars.
While active she is immune to Drop Panels, Trap Cards and out-of-battle damage.

Pros:
-Above-average star-gatherer.
-Hard to kill.

Cons:
-Hyper is generally too expensive, and does not protect against Encounters/Bosses.

Feedback: Not much to say feedback-wise. Previously her star-gain on landing Home was considerably greater, so great many considered it overpowered, now it has been nerfed.
Her hyper is generally not worth using unless you're dealing with a Trap on your Home Tile as it does not prevent Encounters/Bosses, and serves better as fodder for Mimic.

---

Cook (4HP, 0 ATK / -2 DEF / +3 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: Gain a stack of "Hunger" when succesfully evading an attack (max 3). Reduce EVD by 1 when at 3 stacks. All Hunger stacks are removed when landing on your own home.)

She is a fragile evasion-based unit with extremely good dodging ability to survive even the most brutal of attacks, however she only has the stamina to keep it up for a short while.
Her hyper, once active, has her roll double dice for all actions except combat, it lasts until she reaches her home, but while active she can only Norma on her own home.

Pros:
-Evasion God.
-Powerful star gain through hyper.

Cons:
-Very fragile.

Feedback: On paper she works, but some things need direly adressing and changing, as right now she is being misused in ways that was not patched and thought through in the design process.

Firstly, her hyper has infinite duration and does not even end on KO, which people exploit by going for Star Panels until they get 150-200 stars rather then using it to race home.

Secondly, you would assume this would put her at risk of KO or x2 Drop to counteract it or balance it out, but it does not. With the enhanced movement, she has far more choice in where to go, almost never landing on Drop/Encounter panels. It also gives her greater ability to catch foes or avoid being caught by them.

Suggestions:
-Add a time limit to it (like 5 chapters) and make it end on KO.
Or...
-Redesign it into a 3-turn effect without Norma restrictions that also ends on KO.
Or...
-Give double dice for all actions except Battle and Bonus Panels & lower cost to 20 maybe.

General:

Officially, the rating is negative due to the developers' overall actions against players they dislike, their misuse of the game, greed, and misconduct in general.
Less officially, it is still hard to recommend this DLC, but it's far from terrible, especially with Mei's hyper finally becoming useful.

Natsumi is a unit that ultra-specializes in healing friend and foe and profiting off of it, while Mei is a all-rounder who can bolster her stats once her hand is empty.

---

Natsumi (5HP, -1 ATK / 0 DEF / 0 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: When ending your turn (while not KO'd) on a tile occupied by other units, heal yourself and all units on that tile for 1HP. Gain 5 stars for every player healed. (I am guessing this star gain only applies to her passive.))

Natsumi is a passive unit with extremely powerful healing abilities, but she has the worst combat strenght of any unit in the game, often healing her foe rather then hurting it.
Her hyper heals all everyone on the board for HP equal to her level, and gives her 5 Stars per point of HP healed, which can be potentially quite profitable.

Pros:
-Can make a profit off of healing.
-Harder to kill then most units due to self-healing abilities & hyper.

Cons:
-Extremely poor at bullying (with her -1 ATK, she could end up healing her opponent rather then damaging or KOing it).

Feedback: She's not a terrible unit, but she needs improvements. As it stands she is a mediocre unit unable to go on the offence nor making any notable profit from healing, either.

Suggestions:
-Maybe change her base EVD into +1.
(This would A: Synergize nicely with her ability to self-heal when landing on other units, and B: Aid her in "mooching off of Tanks", by ensuring she can reasonably deal with their -1 ATK while damaging and healing them for profit.)

---

Mei (4HP, 0 ATK / 0 DEF / 0 EVD, 5 REC):
(Passive: Gain the card Red & Blue when your hand is empty at the end of your turn.)
Red & Blue (Gift Card): Gain +1 ATK, DEF & EVD. This card is lost on KO, and discarded on use.

Mei is an all-rounder unit that starts out fragile, and has to empty her hand to gain Red & Blue, which makes her a little more powerful then most units stat-wise. Her hyper has two functions.

Normal (without R&B): Discard hand, and deal 2 DMG to units within a 1-tile radius. On KO gain 1 Win and (enemy) level x 5 stars. Enhanced (with R&B): Deal 4 DMG to players within a 2-tile radius. On KO gain 2 Wins and (enemy) level x 10 stars.

Pros:
-Hyper should make it easy for Mei to weaken her enemy before stealing their stars.
-Powered-up Hyper should be reasonably profitable, I guess?

Cons:
-Very weak without R&B.
-Takes a while to "catch up" if KO'd due to it taking a while to regain R&B if she carries other cards.
-Immensely vulnerable to card-stealing effects, greatly disadvantadged if her R&B card is stolen.

Feedback: Being able to discard her hand through her (non-R&B) hyper was the latest change, alongside a radius increase from 0 (only her own tile) to 1 without R&B, and 1 with R&B. Before this change, she was easily one of the weakest- if not the weakest character.

Well, I haven't seen her since the change, so most information on her ability is speculation. I suppose she should be far from the weakest now, however.

General:

Officially, I'd have to rate this DLC negatively despite how great and refreshing this one is (after months of boring OCs or clones, and with a cute doggo boi and maid, no less!), due to the developers' actions. Which is quite sad, because it is one of the better DLCs (once they fix Chris, anyway).

Chris is a summoner unit who has minions fight for her, while Kyupita is a well-rounded unit who can build up his stats for powerful attacks.

---

Kyupita (5HP, 0 ATK / 0 DEF / 0 EVD, 5 REC):

He is a passive unit with well-rounded stats, who has a hyper that lets him build up power. His hyper grants 3 stacks of Saint Eyes per use (stacks upto a maximum of 9).
Saint Eyes: If battle starts with you as the attacker, give +1 ATK for every even stack, and +1 DEF for every uneven stack. After battle ends lose 1 stack.

You only ever use up your stacks if you initiate battle, if you where challanged instead, you gain no stat boost and lose no stacks, which leaves you vulnerable, but also lets you build up your strenght. Your power could go as high as +5 ATK & +4 DEF.

Pros:
-Can catch up by KOing rich opponents via hyper.

Cons:
-Hyper is useless on defence.

Feedback: Nothing of note. Doggo boi is best boi! Design-wise he work exellently. Only problem is, his in-game hyper description makes no damn sense and is far harder to calculate.

---

Chris (5HP, -1 ATK / 0 DEF / +1 EVD, 5 REC)
(Passive: Can hold 4 Cards. Cannot challange units to battle unless Chef or Manager is summoned. Gain 1 Store Manager Counter for every Max-1 card played that isn't a Gift Card.)
&
Chef (Summon) (4HP, +1 ATK / -1 DEF / +1 EVD)
&
Manager (Summon) (4HP, +3 ATK / +2 DEF / -1 EVD):

Chris is a summer unit who has little offensive ability herself, but can summon minions to fight for her and protect her from harm. If Chris gets into combat with a minion active, the minion is sent out to fight instead.

Her default minion is the dangerous but fragile Chef, and if she puts in the effort, she can gain enough store manager counters to summon the mighty Manager. If she is level 4 with 4 or more store manager counters, her hyper transforms into a summon for Manager instead.

Pros:
-Very hard to kill (she has 5HP, and a 4HP replacable minion who takes hits for her).

Cons:
-Summoning Manager is expensive & rare.
-Chris cannot typically use Battle Cards as she cannot challange foes herself, nor use them while a minion is fighting.

Feedback: She has a laundry list of issues. Firstly... Summoning manager. To do so, you would need a deck fully comprised of Max-1 cards, and even that doesn't guarantee you can actually draw 4 Max-1 cards and a hyper and summon him, the odds of drawing 5 cards you need are very rare.

Secondly, it is very expensive to summon Manager (feel free to read that in a Mr Dink voice if you also watch Vinesauce :P). A lot of max-1 cards are 10 or higher in cost. Thirdly, without a minion, chris just has no agency, no means to participate in the game and exploit situations to her favor as she cannot Challange players.

And while her minions make for good protection, they aren't fantastic on offence either, as she cannot heal them nor use battle cards for them, and if Manager is ever summoned, he only has 4HP, meaning he'll have a very limited lifespan. Making her summon playstyle a bit lackluster overall.

Suggestions
-Chris: Can opt to freely change Chef Summon to Manager Summon at level 4+ (just make a button Suguri46B style), and Manager Summon no longer requires counters.
-Optional: Chris gains +1 stars from all sources per store manager counter, instead.

(This allows her to choose if she wants to summon Manager, which would be a improvement for her. And also gives her more freedom on what cards to deck, while keeping her mostly as-is otherwise. Which is fine as she was always a underpowered unit whose only real ability was being very hard to kill.)
