The gameplay was pretty fun and fluent, but my god the voice acting is absolutely horrendous. It's like the game was VA'd by a bunch of random people for a school project.

We've been waiting for this game for so long!!

Have 180 days 16 hours playtime as of 2020/11/21 and have been playing the game since 2006, done every quest, maxed, have 2,000 Achievement Points.
This review is about RS3 not Old School, I'll make OSRS review once It comes out on Steam.

Pros :
-Insane replayability.
-Huge amount of content, considering I have over 180 days of game time I have only completed like 70% of what the game has to offer.
-You can buy Membership with in-game gold. If you're a mid-tier player, It's really easy to get the amount of gold to buy a bond.
-Insanely in-depth PvM. Back when EoC was released, It was pretty bad but over the years and by now abilities have been polished to a an extent. PvE bosses are challenging and very in-depth. Every time you kill a boss you feel a sense of accomplishment.
-End game content is very rewarding and plentiful.
-Most In-Game bosses has Instances you can buy for an hour ( Usually 100k~ ) so you don't have to compete with other players over a spot to kill the boss. This is optional, as you can still kill most bosses without buying an instance.
-Latest game skills ( Invention & Archeology ) are extremely polished and play a big part in the games content.
-If PvE content does not interest you, the game has a metric ton of Skilling content to offer.
-Non-combat skills are very rewarding.
-"Boring" skills are semi-afk, If you want to get those out of the way.
-Game has 220 Quests to offer. Some of these quests ranging from 10 minutes completion time to 5 hours. Quests are meaningless and rewarding also insanely well-done, refurbished and some are fully voiced.
-Updates every Monday 12:00 GMT.
-Very active community.
-Almost no bots in the game compared to OSRS.
-Dailies/Weeklies/Monthlies don't feel forced.
-Game has been polished to be friendly for new players. Has a lot of content to offer for new players.
-Really easy to find friends/clans/friend chats to play with.
-End Game PvE is not locked behind hard-to-get requirements.
-Ironman/Hardcore Ironman gamemode is insanely fun and worth to try out If you like playing the game with no player financial interaction.
-Mobile support.
-Free 2 Play.

Cons :
-Treasure Hunter exists, but you can completely ignore it. I've played since 2006 and It hasn't really bothered me.
-Obnoxious cosmetic overrides ( Walk overrides, cosmetic overrides. If you're using Hot Sand Walk Override you're not human ).
-Pretty difficult to learn game mechanics.
-Outdated tick-based movement.
-One of the weakest sides of RS3 - really confusing overlay. The menus are hard to navigate even though key binding is pretty simple. But even for players like me finding some stuff in the menus is still pretty confusing.
-While the game does not require "a lot" of attention daily, It is however a pretty grindy game. For some that's a pro for others that's a con. If you're not willing to Invest a lot of time into RuneScape, It's probably not a game for you.
-Skills like Agility, Construction, Woodcutting are pretty useless. This might change in the future as the game gets a dozen content updates.
-Some parts of the community can usually be quite toxic. PvE community most of the time, even though there's a whole bunch of welcoming communities.
-Quests can seem long and boring If you're not into that.
-Majority of minigame are dead ( They're usually only active when there's weekly Minigame Spotlight ).
-The game might seem slow from the start, but once you pick up the pace It gets faster.
-Monthly subscription, but you can bypass it with bonds as said above.
-This is not a dating site.


To sum the review up, I absolutely recommend RS3 If you have not played it yet or you've played It long time ago. I know a lot of players, mostly OSRS players have problem with RuneScape 3 and a lot of hatered towards it, but as a OSRS player myself I really recommend giving RuneScape 3 a try. Every OSRS player I forced to give the game a try really enjoyed it. It's really not as bad as people make it to be and majority of the "P2W" posts are just hot-garbage from people who just want to force-feed hate to others.

All-in-All, If you're looking for a game to pass your free-time on, RuneScape is a great choice, the game has a lot of free-to-play content to offer if you want to give it a try.

9/10 would buy gf again.

As someone who used to be a pro TF2 player, It's incredibly sad seeing the game the way it is right now. Unplayable, filled with cheaters and bots.

Even worse when you realize this is a Valve game, a company worth $7.7b today and they can't fix an issue that's being caused by a bunch of neet basement dwellers.

Unacceptable.

Very addicting, the community and devs are really active.
I would really recommend this game If you like simulator games. This is a GOATED simulator game.
