i need cairn to come out soon... can't comprehend how fresh this game seems to be, compared to other products on todays game market. bring it on - and don't forget to give us multiplayer in future. this is going to be a delight for gamers who enjoyed death stranding and such. i hope for a lot of micromanaging.

pros:
‣ character creation is what's getting people hooked
‣ nice menu music
‣ devs are active on social media and post updates
‣ models are getting reworked
‣ new content is beinng added

cons:
‣ the map is absolutely ugly and boring (and too big)
‣ servers are empty
‣ overall graphics lack a lot of work (lightning, the weather, trees, everything)
‣ most of the time its nighttime, you can't see ♥♥♥♥
‣ leveling is an absurd (killing crab npcs for real life days)
‣ no basics like emojis or various sounds to use besides on one species

the main argument about day of dragons versus draconia is that "isn't day of dragons a scam? this game is legit and has no microtransactions!" and while i totally approve of devs being straighforward about paywalls... isn't day of dragons visibly benefiting? its prettier, easier to play, its functionable.

my thoughts: create an actual map with actual environment (animals, grass, plants, nice places to chill with people) make it smaller because no one is using that "new biome" while its 40 minutes of flying in the empty space away. dump the nighttime or make it shorter. improve sky graphics and dump the ugly night sky photo from the ceiling (the bad resolution...) sure you've got a beautiful wyvern or gryphon models! but where are they supposed to play, guys, its ugly there.

the only reason im giving positive review is because i want to believe in this game and i need to see it growing. take my money. no hard feelings. you're overpriced, good, suck them dragonfanboys dry. and then make things.

jest naprawdę świetna, nie spodziewałam się wiele a przegrałam ponad siedem godzin za jednym rzutem w pierwszy dzień. story jest trochę krótkie co prawda ale może to i lepiej bo jest też tragiczne, amerykańska para rozmawiająca z sobą po hiszpańsku w portugalskojęzycznym kraju. (?) absolutnie potrzebne jest ✴character customization✴ i powinno zostać wprowadzone jak najszybciej bo dla mnie przynajmniej to obecnie główny element spoilujący rozgrywkę. to dziwne że tego nie ma kiedy gra żyje dzięki multiplayerowi.

since evrima is so bad optimized,
that it won't run for me even on lowest. (gtx 1660, f.)

• toxic private servers.
• monetization of dinosaurs species on servers.
• screenshots promoting the game on steam store aren't actual,
either the maps or dinos aren't playable anymore without mods.
• bugs like servers not showing up.
• ultimately boring if you don't go for big server.

you read the rules of the server you joined? too bad, the admin|his friend didn't liked how you roared. report. permaban. you can play few basic dinos, the rest you have to buy on server's discord. almost no server has AI, the result is gameplay being either boring for you as a herbivore, or not possible as a carnivore. if you want to eat/spend time with other dinosaurs, you will have to go after servers full of people. let's say you found server with your language, that doesn't have tragic ping, and actually one of two maps you wanted to play on. what next? you find friends! forget about creating a big nice herd like from "walking with dinosaurs", rules says no, you would be too hard to kill if in group, so either keep it in small vulnerable team or get banned. someone attacked you and you killed him while playing herbivore? most possibly prepare for ban. this game is about social groups. you're basically doomed to join every server's discord you use. can't say it wasn't fun when i bought it, but it was seven years ago and as a silly teenager. developers did nothing to make official servers available and of use, or stop microtransactions. this game is a diy, because what it offers is often not enough to actually enjoy it. if you don't like spending your time on discord groups, making points, modifying game files, installing unofficial mods etc, don't buy it.

i'm scared.

absolutely worth buying on sale (and not only). honestly, it's 2022, that was my first contact with mass effect series, i was expecting low quality sci-fi shooter, and of course, ugly faces. but overall, it's honestly good. the graphics are nice, i didn't got any bugs so far, faces are fixed from what i've used to see on memes. story is nice, of course, it's the same cliche arrogant narrative of little humans in deep space. still, enjoyable.
i was nicely surprised with the amount of content.
it's a nice way of spending lazy evening, if you're craving more,
i would suggest checking out Elite Dangerous, i guess.

don't buy now, let developers work on it first.

most of the animals (and have stupid rules), so in fact you can
use only six species, if you want to play with other people.

• pretty models
• pretty textures
• makes you think of your childhood when
you used to play animal planet games after school.
• you will eat it and enjoy it anyway
because you are secretly furry.

it's 2023 guys, and i say go buy it.

✓ they fixed most bugs
✓ they made new biomes
✓ they made new graphic layer for menu
✓ they frequently add more animals
✓ their first flying animal, shoebill, is perfectly playable
right from the premiere day, what "the isle" couldn't do for the last few years

✗ private servers are still ruling
✗ new map is still a little empty and boring

first of all, i want to say that if not for the ending,
i wouldn't have left a positive review.

• out of all series, this game has the best soundtrack.
• story scenario appears for short cutscenes, but gives satisfying idea of our character and her herd.
• cute details like picking a flower or playing with sand is what makes it bitter sweet and gives us a soul.
• there are simply no other games like the shelter series, might and delight created their own genre.

• game creators tried to give us an idea how it must be to be such a big and heavy animal,
but instead they gave us the head pain and an urge to throw our keyboard through the window.
• there is absolutely no interaction with world and animals around us, they look, act and walk like a robots.
• the world doesn't create a coherent whole and feels like it's made out of other projects leftovers.
• graphics looks worse than in shelter 2 or meadow, they are also less optimized.
• combat system or more like defend system just doesn't work.
• surprisingly, might and delight resigned from giving us possibility to create new game with our family descendants, as for an option that was winning players in their previous titles and made a lot of sense, i absolutely cannot understand this decision. it also makes shelter 3 simply boring, because finishing the game takes up to 1,5 hour at most.
• almost no steam achievements, also a thing that was playing a big part for players in previous titles.
