it seems to me that indie games with abrupt endings are becoming a cliche nowadays... Solid experience, though, I strongly recommend to buy this game during a sale (it's only 4hrs long).

Fiddly bits notwithstanding, Thomas Was Alone is a game crafted with heart and attention. It shines through most prominently in its neurotic set of blocks, a cast so delightful you'd give them a cuddle if they weren't all sharp edges (narration is great, you will FEEL for your little, diverse, blocky characters!). It's very rewarding and engaging, there's a lot of fun to be had. The only drawback of this platformer is its' difficulty level - the game is too simple most of the time.

Gone Home is an interesting experiment that didn't move me as much as the developers probably wanted it to (I hoped for a much bigger finale). The way of telling the story and the quality of the script seem a bit simplistic and tend to look at the gamer from a high position. I really like these kinds of experiences but this one is not really worth 20 dollars. Meanwhile you should wait for a sale and try out SERENA - a similar yet better and free game on STEAM... As for Gone Home, I give it a 7 out of 10.

You walk around in a wooden cabin, examining stuff, unfolding the story, which gets creepier and creepier. It's pretty interesting how the mood (the comments of the character and the appearance of the cabin) changes during the course of the game and gets, like I said, darker.

Good story, originally made up (mindf...) ending with a very nice surprise to it -- sure was an hour well spent.

IF you have a twisted/morbid sense of humor, IF you hate cats (which you can simply catch and attach to the end of your gun as a silencer in this game) and enjoy South Park, Beavis and Butthead, Jackass or any of those other guilty pleasures then you will certainly find plenty to smile about while exploring Paradise...

It's the most hyper-violent game I’ve seen since "Soldier of Fortune", the expansions suck (although Silent Hillish opening gives me the creeps), there's a bunch of loading screens and annoying crashes, but I had $h!tloads of fun!

Despite its linearity, Kane & Lynch 2 offers memorable (although fantastically gory) action sequences. There's a highly crowded environment that wants to be discovered, the main characters feel both unique and real, but the story mode is extremely short and somewhat unfinished. The sound is breathtaking and the difficulty is extremely high, so... It's definitely nice, but limited to hardcore gamers (with that being said, the original multiplayer is long time dead).

As you might understand, it offers too few hours of fun, so the price/quality balance might not be that attractive until you find a sale... c(;

Compelling, pulse-pounding and full of memorable moments -- that's ten of the best hours I’ve spent on a computer in a long time. Legendary!

There's a good first person shooter to be had, but it lacks the fire and innovation of the predecessor.

Great design, rough melee fights and a perfect cast of all the protagonists makes it the best choice among other comic rivals.
