My real name is not Charlie, tis a pseudonym. There is, however, an NPC in this game that has the same name as me, and I've never seen my real name in other games before. That alone makes me fully recommend this game.

That, and I swear I put more than 24 hours into this game but I guess that's only recorded on Steam and not other forms of startup.

Okay I admit it. I, like everyone else, got this game because of the all-black background recommended in the Steam Points Shop, and I wanted a very minimalist-looking profile.

I did give the game a chance in the two hour minimum period that was required. I don't know what everyone else used for their controls but I did W+S+Up+Down arrows, seemed comfortable and easier that way. Game isn't buggy, so that's another plus.

Might use this as a way to de-stress after some Counter-Strike matches.

EDIT: Hahaha, I put in the wrong letter for what controls I used.

Originally I made a review for it but someone gave me those stupid Steam Awards points things so I deleted it in hopes of getting rid of the badge.

The game is just 2D Trouble in Terrorist Town. Devs are very passionate about the game, which is a big positive. Tt's more fun to play with friends than with public lobbies. Not that I ever played in a public lobby lol

This game runs smoother on my PC than CSGO, TF2, GTA V, Oblivion, and any other game I have on Steam. On highest default settings. That alone makes me recommend this game.

3 years ago or so I said it's hard to review this game and that Steam still needs a neutral option next to the Yes or No for recommending this game. I still stand by it.

In the past 3 years, there have been changes to allow players to grind sale missions by themselves in an Invite-Only lobby. We've also had Cayo Perico and a few more other missions based around solo player. Which is nice. Yes, there is an argument made that GTA Online is multiplayer and you should play with others, but especially here on PC, if it's randoms you're not biting bullets, you're biting a whole ICBM.

With the re-introduction of custom license plates, vehicle balancing and re-pricing-- The Oppressor Mk. II is no surprise-- and the KD system somewhat reworked it has been about, oh, I dunno, 2% less problematic. There's still a way for modders to drop players money and RP without any warning, and the game's security is still a sad joke. For reference: Crab Game is an independent game that also runs on P2P networking, and had received an update shortly after its release to keep its players safe. GTA Online got some security update a few months before this review was updated (May 2023) and its effectiveness is still put into question.

The game is now a 5/10. 9/10 if you're playing only single-player and into the story. If you are going to play online, please in the name of confused anarchy, don't give into modding.

"I will definitely change my review once I acquire more hours put into it." -December 3rd, 2019

As a casual game, since some of the servers I usually play on aren't always on some days of the week, but this is still one of the most fun games I've played. The amount of regulars I've seen are downright chill and fun to play with and against. Because it's not a super big game as say, CSGO, there's no stress in failing, winning, or anything matchmaking related. It's satisfying to get the sniper shot, or the spawn kill.

Of course, there are some questionable players just like any other game but you're better off muting them than trying to reason or start an unneeded argument in such a game. Don't expect this game to hold your hand and help you; It will cut your whole arm off, beat you with it, and then you'll learn to fight with just one arm.

Okay realistically you probably lost your arm from C4. But my point still stands.

If you want to try something a bit more "realistic" and not afraid of dying a lot, this game is for you. If you want to have something more "fair and balanced" and "organized" instead of chaos, go play Fortnite, Valorant, or something else.

I got this during Steam Summer Sale 2017. Like many of the people who play, I had SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition on CD. I spent about probably 8000+ hours since I started as an 8 year old. Ah, back when I couldn't find the damn registration code but a friend of mine always lent me his. Good times. I got this game after a certain update in either Windows 7 or 8 disallowed something that SimCity 4 on CD requires to play. Since this is entirely different from the CD version, it works tremendously well.

If you're into graphics and all that for simulation games, you might as well throw that view out the window. For a game that was released nearly 14 years ago, this was at the top of its game and honestly, it still is. The gameplay is fun as hell, with the tank being the most strongest vehicle (until you crash into 100 tanks and log trucks). I prefer this more than the new SimCity that came out 4 years ago(?) any time.

How you play SimCity 4 is really up to you, though. You could either play with the standard and already implemented buildings, or you could go to Simtropolis and download mods for SimCity to make yours look more realistic. There is nothing wrong with playing with either, however, one disadvantage about playing with custom mods: The more you have, the longer it takes to load a region, and in a related topic...

Depending on your computer, you may crash numerous times. The game does take a lot of demand on the computer, but again, this varies. Sometimes you'll still be running the game, even if you have already quit. I do suggest reading the compatibility stats for your computer and the game.

Overall, still a great game and a lot of nostalgia value for me. Give this game a try!

This is the only game I got 100% achievement completion in, very proud of myself.

Now to figure out how to port a map I made in CSGO to CS2 without losing brain cells.

Music: 10/10
Storyline: 10/10
Graphics: 8/10 (lip sync is weird, but eh, whatever, the storyline did better than graphics ever can)
Characters: 10/10
Difficulty: Pretty difficult, since it forces you to choose between your thoughts and Max's thoughts.
Setting: 10/10
Playing with emotions: You're kidding, right?

I got the first episode when it was free, then got the other episodes near Christmas sale because I'm that kind of gamer. Each episode got sadder and sadder as I progressed, not to mention stressful as hell. The amount of plot twists is decent, and unexpected as they should be.

While things like watering your plant and talking to people seem weird or funny for actions having consequences, it will matter. There are many obvious actions, and twice as many subtle. You will expect to see yourself screaming at your screen or most likely shedding one tear that may or may not escalate to hundreds. So keep tissues and notify anyone in your house why you have tissues near your computer.

If you're into games where decision making is crucial to the storyline, this game fits in perfectly. Overall, I'm excited that Dontnod is making a sequel, and I can't wait to continue the story, or start a new one. Whatever they have planned.

I'm currently trying to hold in all tears after finishing the game.

I remember when I was younger this was the one game that my dad would always play. He was always a Sniper or a Soldier. The servers he played on mostly consisted of his friends.

Fast forward a decade later. I finally get this game along with the Valve Complete Pack for Christmas. I go in, and well, not surprised to see how many servers are open and the most I can ever find is 10 people in just one. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the nostalgia. That booming voice, the triumphant music, the grenades... All sounds just spamming together into one huge orgy that even porn websites can't compete with.

The game is really fun, has mechanics so different from Team Fortress 2, that it will be confusing for those who only play its sequel. Grenades are so fun to mess around with until you throw one at yourself. I suggest actually finding a server to practice with each class and all features that each class has, and obviously, must read what the default key binds are. You don't want to be spending 4 minutes trying to find the grenade button or the Medic button.

I recommend new players or curious TF2 players to try this. But don't think just because you're good at other shooting games or good at TF2, that you're gonna do well in this. Oh, and also:

YOUR TEAM CAPTURED. THE FLAG.
