Early Access Review
This is the most fun I've had in a zombie game in a long time. It's basically a zombie survival/extraction shooter in one; think The Hunt: Showdown mixed with some Contagion (Zombie Panic).

Each mission you spawn alone in a massive map with 8 other players and there are key objectives spread out across to complete. The key to survival is quickly finding each other and building up an arsenal by looting points of interests around the map, most of which have their own missions to complete to gain access to hidden stashes.

The game definitely gets easier with friends. When you spawn as a solo-queue, the map will initially only show you the spawn locations of other players. Once you group up, they are added to your map and can be seen on it no matter how far away you are. If you queue with friends in your party, the map will show you their exact locations from the get go no matter how far away they spawn.

Zombies can be a large threat. They swarm easily and quickly dwindle down your health. It's best to avoid fights and just run past zombies in the beginning stages of a match. Once you gear up, it's all about head shots.

The game has perma death. After each death, you start a new character that levels up as you play from 1-50. Each character unlocks different perks along the way. You are able to somewhat choose which base perks you would like every time.

EARLY ACCESS STUFF:
There is currently no loadout system. You cannot keep items from missions and you cannot select a loadout to spawn into a mission with. You will always spawn with a steel pipe, revolver, and a reviving syringe.

I've come across some minor bugs such as floating items and floating zombies. None of them were really game breaking.

If you have the money to spend, don't second guess why you're looking at this page. Try the game out. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in NMRiH2..

There's nothing quite like popping open a cold one and going full genocide on some virtual zombies with your best buds.

Most fun I've had in a looter shooter ever. I hated Tarkov. I never got into Incursion Red River.

But this game... This damn game feels good and it's only in early access. The world feels real. The communication and interactions I've had with other players and squads in the world feel real and genuine.

Enemies can feel spongy at times but there's always a plethora of ammo to use. Not a big fan of the food system but oh well can't have it all, just remember to bring lots of food supplies on a multi-task deployment or just make sure to force yourself to scavenge.

I've had no stability/framerate issues whatsoever. For reference I am running a stock clock Ryzen 9 3950x and EVGA 3090 FTW3.

Hope they fix graphics issues for everyone else because this is a game you all NEED to try.

I've enjoyed a lot of tactical shooters in my time... This is not one of them.

The UI is terrible and not user friendly. Combat is lack luster and boring. The AI is terrible. NO MOUSE SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENTS (Really? It's 2024, c'mon.)

Keep in mind I've been playing the game way before the steam early access release. I've voiced my opinions to the dev. Multiple others have done the same. Thousands of us play-tested this clunk waaaaaay before early access. Thousands of us gave our opinions and the developer listened to no one.

There are better options out there right now if you're looking for fun. Do your own research. Buy this at your own risk.

10/10. I just kicked down doors and fought everyone in my way. This game is the definition of sandbox gameplay.

Me at lvl 1: "I'm staying in the truck guys" , "Please ghost don't hurt me" , "WHO TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS?!"

Me at lvl 100: Playing stock items with the game set to respond to Mandarin only on Asylum Professional. "這裡有人嗎", "

Great social, multiplayer, and customization mechanics make up for the dated looking mobile graphics.

The gameplay and controls are also great and include perfect gamepad and wheel compatibility.

Stop wasting your time reading these reviews and spend the $10 to get your tandem on.

This is my review for Ballistic Overkill Shadow: The Game

This is a game about Shadow. He turns invisible when he sprints (which he does really, really fast) and wields deadly close range weapons.

In each multiplayer match you play, you will face many variations of Shadow such as, but not limited to, Shadow with a cowboy hat, Shadow with boobs, zombie Shadow, and ninja Shadow.

As far as I know, there are no other characters except Shadow in Ballistic Overkill Shadow: The Game.

For five measly bucks, I believe this is an awesome Shadow simulator. I don't think you can get as real as this.

6.5/10 because you can't queue with friends, but it's still somewhat as entertaining as TF2.

Remember RCT3 as a youngster? Remember how much time you wasted on that game as a kid? Now remember it as an adult.
