Game is buggy as hell. I drove into a fire hydrant, got launched two streets over and escaped the cops.

10/10 - this games a mess but funny to play co-op.

Just buy it on sale.

Controls just feel off. Worlds appear plain and empty. Graphics in Sonic Generations seemed better despite the huge gape in release dates. I have always been a Sonic fan but this game is one I will buy on sale, not the ridiculous price they are asking for it.

Firstly I don't think there will ever be a game that is universally loved by everyone. We all like different things and that's okay, you do you boo!

But down to business.

Godfall is a melee looter that has you playing as Orin, The hero that was betrayed by his brother and now has to fight to stop his brothers plans (nothing special). The gameplay itself is basic. All the missions are on one map until you progress to the next area. The mission objectives will change each mission, but its more or less the same thing. Drop in, run around collecting loot to buy more Valorplates and find chests to get loot while fighting small groups of enemies. The story is not strong, but I like it in its simplicity.

Where I feel the game shines (at least for me) is in the combat. Sure the parrying window is huge and clunky to say the least, and if you don't evade you will spend most of your time hugging the dirt. I feel the developers put some thought into the combat and skill tree. You have your basic light and heavy attack as per normal. Put skills into Weapon Techniques and you will fill bars that you can unleash new attacks on enemies. Do you rush in and spam attack? put perk points into Rampage. Do you prefer to co-ordinate your attacks and take a more strategic approach? put perk points into Weapon timing. Do you have a keen eye for weak points glowing on an enemy? Put perk points into Weakpoints to deal extra damage.

Sure people say the developers have brought nothing new in this game while calling it a Warframe and God of War clone. People are also complaining about you needing to constantly be online while playing. Welcome to 2022 and every game these days

I like Warframe, I like God of War and so far I like Godfall.

a better remake of space jam than the space jam remake

As usual Supergiant has delivered nothing less than a masterpiece.
The gameplay is amazing, keeping you playing for hours and hours. The story line and sheer amount of dialogue will keep you hooked on every side story and every character as the game progresses.

Definitely worth a play and a worthy next entry for the Devil May Cry SAGA
