I love it! It's way more involved than just about every other hidden object slop. It's only other competitor is the Full of Cats series. The Hidden In... series is close too. You get plenty of maps to play through and I'm surprised I spent as much time as I did, even as a second screen. I love how there's movement in each scene, and how you get 2 cycles per day, and how you can click through the different floors of a building. The themes are great! Also being able to make your own maps and share them online is a nice feature if you're after more than just a 100%. I probably played in increments of 25 minutes.

Start with Racing then get the Touring car after completing the Standard Championship. You'll cruise to the finish even on Hard. All you have to do is use Nitro off the starting block and the acceleration and handling will take care of the rest. If you don't, the whole pack will body you and you'll get stuck everywhere. It seems like only the leader really gets the bonus Nitro that spawns on the track.

I liked the different camera views, I mostly did top down but switched to behind view for the last series. I didn't like the player icon that hovers over the car in this view, pretty annoying.

Races are basically 50 seconds. The handful of maps are nice, and I don't mind going in reverse, but at some point it starts to feel repetitive when the difficulty never gets any harder. At the same time, going for 100% didn't take ages.

I think the only difference between this and Evo might be the weapons mode. I did just enough to get an achievement, otherwise I ignored it completely. Same with MP, you get splitscreen but the achievements are only for matchmaking.

Definitely play on Hard to keep the heart-rate up. Casual cartoon racing when the mood strikes.

It's nice, and relaxing, just like the first, but definitely shorter and even easier. You're basically getting this for the light music and colorful Escher. They introduced a second character and having to use both to navigate back and forth was a highlight, but they were limited to only a few levels. I can appreciate a game meant for a younger or more casual audience, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with the lower difficulty. I suppose to get a stronger fix I'll have to find more things like Pedestrian, Hitman GO, or Back To Bed. Either way, I still finished and enjoyed my time even if it was limited. I know I'll get the third when it comes over to Steam because it's such a great palette cleanser.

The environments were nice, you get two maps and an interlude in between, I just wish the props were destructible.

For combat, the vampires can get in your face, but the human ai is dumb as nails. They'll run backwards and spend more time staring at your feet than pumping lead into your chest. Also included are explosive cars and electrical boxes, great for collateral damage. Maybe it was just the difficulty but I really didn't feel any danger. I don't think I got any cool loot either, just the occasional upgrade that carried me to the end.

It's made for co-op but idk why they'd lock achievements to just the host. I got to about the halfway point with a friend when we realized this and had to restart solo. Accessibility settings include infinite ammo and I really didn't feel bad putting that on. Also, there's no in-game save system and there are branching decisions. Feel free to manually scum your documents folder. You'll need to max trust all 4 characters, which takes about 4 hours total, just sprinting through main missions with 3 and then another go with 1 more.

I didn't have any technical issues playing solo on high, but when I played with others my frames would drop to single digits, especially in combat, then return to normal.

The story was ok? The cutscenes were just slowly moving stills with your character narrating. Pretty underwhelming.

You shouldn't feel bad avoiding this, though there's something about dumpster diving and playing things other people avoid. Meeting all the challenge conditions was pretty fun to be fair. Maybe it's meeting friends that also play your games that makes it worth it.

Military! Hand-holding! A very short linear path from point A to point B! People saying Frosty! What do you know, a villain the good guys trained.

You get 141 races across 2 campaigns, Racer and Cop. There's no story just select a race.

Racer for sure got my bpm's up. Almost everything is a one-shot though, they're barely 3-4 minutes long with an odd one out. For those, I'm more worried about my legs turning into spaghetti right in front of the last turn, than actually beating Gold. Restarts are quick. I'll say, it's a good reason to get friends on EA so you can get those Autolog rec's and beat people's times for achieves right outta the box.

There are less races as a Cop and they're way too forgiving, you get so much time to bust everyone. You'll need to level up both ranks to 20, Racer you'll end at around 17 and Cop it was just over 15 with bonus mp at the beginning. You could boost mp but the lobby countdowns take forever. Instead, there is a way too easy race that goes from 30 seconds to 2 minutes with a decent xp gain. 2 hours to jump 5 levels. You might beat that with a harder race and more opportunities to score points but with this I could watch TV at the same time.

Weapons were fun and useful, traffic mostly cooperated but yo, sometimes they would just literally spawn somewhere around you when you entered frame, it was a magic trick. Also, they have a habit of turning into you when you're clearly in the next lane over. The cars were fine, I just kept selecting the faster one and you get to change the colors.. sometimes, and that's about all I needed.

Sweet courses, wide and narrow spaces, you go left, you go right.. watch out going over the hump in the opposite lane! You get bumpers on the sides so feel free to bang everything.

Slaughtering 41,000 enemies was glorious. Magazine out, magazine in. Wonderful campaign and Operations are a nice continuation. My only complaint is with Operations. If you're playing with a bot and all humans go down, the game ends. I wish we could see if the bot manages to stay alive while our countdown runs out and then we can get back into the game. Exploiting the Bulwark HP regen was awesome while it lasted. Leveling weapons and classes was super easy, and always being able to find randoms for any mission you want to play was nice too. I've been playing since pre-release and haven't had any issues with any of the updates. Ready your Bolters. Lictor these nuts.

I came in like a wrecking ball. Great display of villains and plenty of butts to kick! The world felt populated and taking down every enemy felt satisfying. The gadgets were super fun to play with even if I mostly stuck to a few favorites. Bouncing around the battlefield was a breeze. I'm glad all the missions came through phone calls then you're just good to go. It was nice completing the missions, challenges and activities in my first playthrough, then being able to skip everything non essential in NG+. Honestly, the highest difficulty was way too easy with a decked out Spidey, that's where I take a point off. DLC's were awesome too. Everyone was so much fun to see come to life. The MJ and Miles missions didn't take up too much space on the replay, even when I wanted to just blow through everything. You can skip just about every cutscene and also the tech puzzles which is great. "It hurts to move, at least I still can." ... "Mind if I live stream on the way to the station?" ... "If I can get through this without getting wet, that'd be a win." ... "Never mind the risks!"

I forgot to say... DEFINITELY USE A SHADER!! Holy cow what a difference, waaay better getting that red out of the sky.
