The game just feels cruel at times, to the point of frustration. The odds are complete lies; how the f*** can someone miss a shot into an adjacent square?

The game has also soft-locked me out of my save. I got stuck looking under the Avenger, tried to reload my ironman save, and nothing happens.

If you like dinosaurs, Jurassic Park, and/or park-management games, I think this is a game for you. It has issues, sure. It's not as free form as I would like, since I'd like to not have to connect the power station to a path connecting the entrance, for instance. It's quite grindy in some places. The tools don't always act as you'd like them too. The completed genome dinosaurs aren't feathery, like they should be.

Otherwise, the game is great. The graphics are pretty great. It's very satisfying looking at the dinosaurs and building the park for the most part. The campaigns are engaging enough, if quite similar.

Recommended.

I love this game, but I know it's not for everyone. The style, the mechanics, the challenges, they're all great. I only wish they made another.

This game is timeless. There has been and probably will never be a better simulation game than this... unless they make Spore 2... which really needs to happen, by the way.

Screw my last review. After playing this game for long enough I can say it is not what it was promised to be at all. It is dissapointing in the highest regard, and the lack of communication between Hello Games and the players is digusting.

Until communication and improvements resume, do not buy this game.

In its current state, it's pretty awful - and anything that it could 'tell you', you could just learn by thinking about life. Until it gets a proper story and development (which I don't know that it will) it's not worth PLAYING.

But, it is free and it is only 57MB so...

I only played a small amount because I found it really hard to grasp, the controls didn't seem to work, and it wasn't fun.

It just wasn't fun...there's not much more to say.

Fun to play, but it has a little 'clunky' menu controls.

It's a fun game, and I'm not really a lover of platformers. It's interesting and it has a good story.
