A vapor waved inspired walking sim where you walk around and do quests, take pictures, and increase your likes in a web-based world to unlock other worlds where you do the same thing. The walking pace isn't too slow that things are tedious, and not too fast that you don't take in the things around you. The soundtrack is actually really nice, and each of the worlds keeps things fresh. A little slow at first, but once you unlock the katana it moves much faster. Lots of memes and lil jokes everywhere- Super cute. I was actually also surprised that this game has an overarching plot, and the storyline is interesting. On sale it's usually like $3, and for that it's for sure worth the price.

You can definitely tell that this game was someone's baby.

Early Access Review
Very similar to both Lethal Company and Content Warning.
-Play as a cute lil dude
-Proximity chat with your friends
-Enter spooky map
-Scrounge items/content in order to fill your goal
-Buy silly things
-Go to next harder map
-Get demolished by scary monsters
-Watch from the "dead view" while they scream and die
-Repeat

It's fun, just like the other two.

One of the legit strangest games I have ever played.

You play as someone named "The Hunter", which is your birth name, given to you as a baby. You're a centuries old dead god who is brought back to life in a full suit of armor to help Marvel superheroes fight your immortal mom. The game actually starts with Ghostrider telling you to get bent, and then you fight against a Venom/Hydra team-up.

Midnight Suns is a game that feels like 3 different games mashed together:
-A turn-based deck-building card battler, which is how you fight and defeat enemies- Which might turn some people off in a combat superhero game, but it is actually super well executed here.
- A semi open world rpg. You can choose conversation choices that reflect how the other characters interact with you (You can be a big ol' a-hole if you want). You also run around unlockable maps opening chests, archiving lore, and picking up collectibles (including tarot cards and journal pages from Salem witches). You can even go mushroom foraging.
- A life sim where you build up friendships with superheros (Blade, Magik, Deadpool, etc) by hanging out with them, and bringing them gifts. There's even a "superhero only" social media. You also can customize tons of things from your bedroom to the hero's outfits (Seriously, you can literally choose what swim trunks you want Dr. Strange to wear). There's even a photo mode where you can create custom comic book covers.

It is so, so weird, but it is SUPER fun so far. I'm really enjoying it, I think maybe it's unintended, but it is hilarious. This feels so insanely like being a kid at the movie theatre playing in the arcade in the strangest of ways. There is even an invisible announcer that screams out "K.O." every time you kill someone like it's Mortal Kombat. I wish I knew more people who have played this so I could talk about it more. It feels obscure for being a Marvel game made by the XCOM team, but maybe that's because its sort of niche.

AND, last but not least- You CAN pet the demon dog.
($100 is crazy though, buy it on sale lmao)

Like Animal crossing but with less island customization, and more quests/mini games. Super, super cute and wholesome. A must have if you like Sanrio

First game of this type I have ever played- Usually nervous because I don't do well with shooters, but it's super fun and well explained and surprisingly nontoxic.

Early Access Review
Reka is currently towards the supposed end of their early access, and while there is a lot of bugs, and areas to improve, I am having a BLAST.
I love the style of this game aesthetically, and the colors of the trees, and the light that shines through them is really beautiful and well done. The characters are Slavic, and they portray Baba Jaga accurately as a neutrally aligned morally grey character, and not downright evil.
There are a lot of little areas to explore, and the base-building is super nice and extremely customizable. Although, here is a problem currently with not being able to pick up items once you've set them down.
It is also a buggier early access than most games- varying from distracting to game breaking. Trees floating high in the air, unlockable quest rewards disappearing permanently from your game, the game tutorial randomly re-triggering, Reka's arms snapping back behind her and getting stuck that way which interferes with the way she runs, and on the 3rd map- which is also the only one where the merchant is required to complete 2 quests- the merchant does not show up.
Because of these bugs, I'm going to take a break until its full release, but I'm still recommending it because I had SO much fun in the parts that I could do. Hopefully they'll add more side-quests and recipes as well. :)

The killer is so rough to play as that I haven't had one single match against her at all while I'm playing as survivor, and the DLC released 3 full days ago. Usually right after a release the new killer is almost ALL you see for weeks. Taurie is cool looking, and even though her lore is a step up from the mess they gave Sable, it still reads as an amateur wattpad fanfiction.

Update: I play dbd everyday, and I finally had my first match against Houndsmaster on the 15th!! So, 16 full days after her release. Actually insane.

Incredible game, honestly. It's short, but you can clearly see that there was tons of thought and work put into it. I don't want to say too much and give away the ending, but you basically watch a crew of 5 people get stuck in space after a crash, and start to deteriorate mentally. Expertly woven psychological horror, 10/10.

Early Access Review
At first I was a little confused due to the lack of tutorial, but I went to the store page and read the info boxes, and thats how I learned about combining objects to make them stronger. The game could definitely benefit from a short in-game tutorial.
The first 20 minutes or so I felt very powerless, getting flatlined over and over again, and I wondered if this game was designed to be played with multiple people instead of trying to troupe through as a solo act - But, then I realized the point of the game early on was not to defeat opponents, but to earn coins to use to build stronger equipment. After figuring that out it felt a lot less burdensome, and like I was actually accomplishing goals, but I wish getting stronger at the beginning wasn't so vague and time consuming- I think its something that will potentially put off having long-term players. The skill system, and getting to choose a temporary power up every time I beat a level was very well implemented, and I enjoyed seeing the differences each one made for my next round- It made me wish maybe there were separate classes to choose from, or builds to play- Like archer, swordsman, etc, that would have different pros and cons to them.

It's an early access game, and I think that there is a good base to build from here, but I think it is also in need of some weapon balancing, clear objectives, and a strong tutorial. It is a surprisingly cute game, where you get to customize your little potato person, and its pretty fun once you get the hang of it, but my overall feeling is that its missing just a little something. All said, I'm excited to see what direction it takes, it could end up being a pretty fun party game to play with friends!

I was super excited for this game, and I'm 100% willing to change this review once it's optimized- But the game crashes like crazy. My PC is above the requirements to play it, and upon entering the game it crashes every 10-15 minutes. In the times it doesn't crash, it cuts my audio out.

The game itself has been fun so far, but until they release a bug patch, it's not worth the money.

EDIT: They've released a few bug patches, but they never solved the problem for me. Ended up upgrading my CPU and my RAM (Was planning to anyways) even though my PC was better than the recommended specs. I think they still are in major need of an optimization update, but I've seen them asking for feedback on crashes, so I'll write this on the assumption it's underway. Upgrading my PC has made the game work flawlessly, but it should have never had come to that.

Now that I'm able to actually PLAY the game, I've gotta say- It is SUPER fun. There are tons, like A LOT, of Easter eggs, and as a huge DBD fan, it's been my favorite part. It's also been really nice to expand the lore and world-building of DBD, and I love how each action can have a major consequence. Some of the characters are a little annoying or bleh, but I'm sure when I was an excitable 16 year old, I was too.
The visual effects are really impressive, even if the facial movements of the characters themselves aren't. There are occasional glitches where I'll glide instead of walking, or the hair will bug out, but nothing insanely game-breaking.
If you can get it to work (Without upgrading your entire rig, lmaooo), it is worth playing for any Dead by Daylight fan.
