Unfortunately. Sony continues to be treacherous. 177 countries are unable to access the game they paid for because those are the countries Sony refuses to support PSN access in, and it seems likely they haven't given up on the idea of eventually forcing linking. Do not buy this game. Do not give Sony any money.

Given the fact that the corpo-rats over at Sony have pulled their heads out of their asses and retracted the utterly moronic decision to make PSN account linking mandatory, I am once again comfortable in saying that this is an amazing game, definitely worth your money.

I can't deny that the amount of teamwork it takes to make a major megacorp reverse a decision is extremely high, and it's heartwarming that Helldivers 2 taught us to fight together well enough to make them back down.

Also the soundtrack deserves an award of some kind. Maybe two. I've seen some streamers playing with it turned off and it feels genuinely /wrong/.

Anyway, Join the Helldivers, defend Super Earth from the bugs and bots, deliver high explosive liberty from orbit. You won't regret it.

Incredibly immersive, challenging, and made 45 minutes near the beginning feel like two hours.
