Early Access Review
Honestly, I bought this on a whim, but what a whim it was.

I was sucked in for basically all of 7 and a half hours.
Definitely enjoyable, even if incomplete so far.
But looks like the devs are well on their way to releasing more updates and working with the community!

Only problems I really came across were
- A few places getting stuck (handy unstuck button, but pretty easy to abuse as basically a teleport home).
- Defiinitely need to fix up the walking uphill, as it can be a bit of a pain, and
- the tyre balls and just going nuts. It's pretty funny, though.

Would highly recommend giving this game a try, because it will only get dearer to purchase as they've said, and even at the moment there's plenty of content.

I look forward to the story and further developments!

This game is a great deal of fun!
As you start out you have basically nothing; just a shovel, brush, two buckets and a truck.
Eventually you save up those coins by selling your panning finds, and can even grab yourself a third bucket!
Following that, you have the opportunity to purchase more places to dig, a digging vehicle and can start to melt down your nuggets to pour into actual bars, which you can make the few items that generate your income. All in all, a pretty fun, calm and interesting game.

It feels as if this game did not undergo some more lengthy playtesting. Though this is coming from some ballpark standard I feel.

There are a couple of points that I've found difficult to really become accustomed to:
- The game world does feel a bit empty, missing any other characters even if they were to just stand around in whatever towns are available to visit.
- The physics can be a bit.. weird. There is obviously some work done so that items and objects don't sit inside of each other, but this leads to things being sent to outer space and ending up somewhere on the map. This particular point is very much frustrating when you are pouring a bucket of nuggets out; it decides "All these things are colliding with something, and they must not!" - say goodbye to everything in that container that you spent a while collecting...
- Along with that, whenever the vehicles tend to clip their wheels against a lamp post or rock along the roads, you better be buckled in, because you get sent. Can't say where, exactly, but you get sent. And spiralling. Kinda hurts your head.
- When it comes to vehicles, the controls are fairly basic, but that is a good thing. There is some unfortunate camera angles which, if you are next to some trees and trying to look from the position where they stand, they completely obscure your view. Makes it difficult for lining things up.
- An interesting thing with the pans that you start with or that you buy more of, is that if you carry them and pass them through something that is able to be carrying by them, it will become one with the pan. This can obviously be useful for if you want to easily carry the collection of swords or jewellery you have just crafted. It becomes a bit of a hindrance, though, when you walk past your pressure stones in a pipe and accidentally take them out because they connect to the pan..

Honestly, I very much enjoy this game and will continue to play it.
I hope that they add more variety in what can be done, while fixing up the little things that although you are able to work around them, would be easier if fixed up a bit!

I've got some gold that has been scattered across the map to collect..

There's a bit of polishing needed on some controls like the getting-sucked-into-vehicles feature.
Beyond that, this is a very, very amusing game, or very challenging. Player decides.
