This game requires some time for you to spend in it before you start understanding how the mechanics can interact with each other. Just like DnD. This game is so cool haha.

Early Access Review
Real decent Japanese highway racer. Highly recommend, especially if you ever played midnight club or NFS:U2.

Needs at least another year in the oven. The controls feel like a bastardized version of skate with some questionable design decisions splashed in. Why do I need to press the right bumper to grind? I also got weirdly angry when I realized that the ollie input is just holding the right stick down instead of flicking it up after holding it down. That completely nukes any and all muscle memory I have from skate, which I feel isn't a proper complaint cause it's like comparing apples to oranges.

I dumped a lot of time into the skate franchise, and I can see the influence in the controls. I feel like the controls need to be not so simplified, specifically with how flip tricks work, and I would enjoy it more.

I got twisted on some Liber-TEA and killed my entire squad with a 320mm HE Barrage orbital strike, and you bet your freedom loving ass I'd do it again in a heartbeat for democracy

A hidden gem for racing games. The handling model hits that really nice sweet spot for simcades. Lower power cars are really fun to swing around corners, and the higher power cars can grip as well as slide. Track variation is top notch too. You have different countries with varying degrees of technicality. One of my favorites is Italy, and you reach those tracks very early on. IMO it plays better with a controller, which with force feedback enabled it vibrates to let you know the edge of your grip which I haven't seen done in another game before. 2003 games are wilin. Pick it up, worth the $10 ez pz

Lovely little terrifying point and click adventure story with a gameboy horror aesthetic. You navigate your conversations not with dialogue options, rather with clicking and dragging the muscles on Dear William's face to make emotional responses a la The Super Mario 64 intro screen. The game wears it's analogue horror well and combines it with a really interesting dive into Tulpas. The game features multiple endings and they all tie together to form a cohesive story, even including some 4th wall breaking. Really refreshing concept for a game, I obsessed over it for a good weekend and a half.
