Also a shame that I never actually played the game because it was capped to 30FPS... and this was back before HFR (120Hz+) became close to mainstream. Maybe LSFG can make it playable now..
If you want to chat more about it @ me on Discord since I don't use Steam's. Curious why you're hunting for it; xbox profile achievement reasons?
Also, you can go here to see when you bought it, just search up the game signed in: https://test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/steamhelp/en/
Just going to say, I enjoyed reading them! The reviews, that is.
Keep it up!
Just say something more than "hi" or "how are you" else I'll never respond, because that's how all those spam bots or account hijackers start.. and boy are they common.
Wherever you have the game installed (or Steam, if not using libraries), it will be in: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\624718040\Content
Just overwrite the UPK file in there.
As for the 'example mod' thing if that conflict is affecting you (saw it in the mod comments), that can only be fixed by releasing a new mod. I'd rather not re-release someone else's work (plus I've forgotten everything about XCOM2 modding by now), so you'll have to rely on someone else for that, or pick someone else's voicepack. Wasn't a problem for me though.
I really liked the name of it.
If you're still looking to configure SpecialK, see the unofficial guide here, notably the ReShade or 'other' section: https://test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=933337066
To workaround an issue with SK+RS, I have a custom name for the ReShade64.dll (literally name it anything else), but whatever you set it to, just make sure the values in the example config are the same.
You couldn't comment on my profile because I disallowed profile comments from non-friends ages ago. Sorry about that.
And, by the way, thanks for the domain renewal. I downloaded the Deep Shadows version because it looks great IMO.
I was slow on my domain renewal; site should be back up today.
I reinstalled Valkyria Chronicles today, and I wanted to download the No Canvas/No Streak mod you made.
I tried to get it from your website (which https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Valkyria_Chronicles links to), but it seems the domain has expired.
Welp, onward to 1337, I guess!
I guess you can help me because I'm "scared" to read some others spoilers about the game if I'm try to find a solution myself by navigating in forums and topics.
Sorry to asking you that directly on you profile too.
In the meantime, I added a mirror for the deep shadows mod to my explanation post: http://test-steamproxy.haloskins.io/app/294860/discussions/0/624075036485427987/?ctp=3#c617329920709748140

The two things holding me back are the way Steam's overlay functions compared to Xfire; it's far slower, has useless transitions and doesn't feel as responsive. The other is Steam's horrible screenshots. It's using a low JPEG quality with color subsampling; absolutely wrecking some colors like red and making the whole image look generally awful.
If Steam adds a lossless option (or at the very least disables color subsampling, which should never be enabled in the first place) then that's one barrier overcome, but I don't see how they could change the UI as that's the way it functions.
Regardless, it's becoming such a PITA to deal with Xfire's non-support for custom D3D9 libraries, like ENB and SMAA.
