Want to play an action-adventure game as a child? It can hardly get any better than this!

When game first got out I was so disappointed with Gymkhana becoming such a big deal in the game; now I realise it's tried to do something new and different while keeping the original rally ideas. While I'm not so good at those tricks, the 'old school' part still makes this one of the best driving games out there.

In its current state I can hardly recommend this over the original. It runs well and it's a bit improved graphically, but the port is a lazy one. The button prompts do not adapt to using a keybord + mouse and keep showing Xbox gamepad prompts, some resolutions are not natively supported (like 1366x768), the graphical settings are way too few despite the entries for them existing in the *.ini files. Oh, and multithreading is also turned off by default.

The water is slightly worse than the original. The first Bioshock used to run on Unreal Engine 2.5 and the company had to do an in-house solution to the water which was pretty impressive, and still is. As the game got ported to Unreal Engine 3 it was no longer possible to use that technique, resulting in a slightly downgraded water effects. Bringing back what was in the original would've probably taken a hefty investment so I'm OK with it as it is currently.

This may be one of the very few satisfying platformers out there. The controls are very sharp, how you progress is purely up to your skill and not the game failing to deliver the desired action.
PROs:
- very sharp control, one of the best out there
- some intriguing mechanics, like door switches or the upside down switch
- the price vs content (although I got it in a bundle)
- offers some diversity
- rolling in circles make it feel a bit like the Sonic game I never got
- has trading cards
CONs:
- it feels like there should be more levels, and features are being underused, like the upside down switch being in just 2 levels in there.
- graphics not on par with 2015 release date and some flickering shadows in certain levels.
- uninspired, even boring boss fights.

In conclusion, I'd love to see the same mechanics being used again in a game with more levels and focus on interesting ways to use the powers, and reconsider or give up the boss fights.

Welcome to Heaven Island! You know it's heaven when you try to commit suicide jumping off a tall building but instead you land softly and safely on the ground.
Nice cheap relaxing game with some inspiring messages left here and there. I am scared to eat apples though, any of them could the eden one.

A classic that still has a great gameplay value even 12 years after its release. The story is a bit shallow but they kind of tried to make it coherent through cutscenes while graphics aged almost as well as Prince of Persia or Max Payne. Compared to those games however the vampire thing makes for some funny and interesting gameplay tweaks, like the desperate soldiers/zombies' faces as you suck their blood. And of course who could forget the first act's cutscenes where Mynce's breasts just keep jiggling.

Took various tweaks to get it working on Windows 10, was not meant to be played on anything newer than Windows XP.

Quite a fun and not-so-challenging platformer even on Hardcore. However, after you finish the main story and go to challenges/arcade levels that's about to change, maxing these levels is for real hardcores.
