CS:GO Review
CS:GO is a fantastic game made by a successful company.
So, it's a good game, but is it worth picking up?
Sure, but is it worth picking up as a serious competitive game, more than just a game you play to pass time?

As of now, with the video game industry revolving around NFTs and P2E mechanisms providing players with rewards for their gameplay, I can not recommend it.

But what about the future?
Counter Strike used to be a game that welcomed changes, even revolved around them. It's been too long that this is not the case anymore and in contrary to common belief, it can be solved.

Here are a few things I believe VALVe can partake in to make CS:GO better:

1. 128 tick and input lag:

CS:GO is filled with input lag and the matchmaking servers still being on 64 tick just isn't right, it's been many years since VALVe said they'll do something in the matter, but here we are and there hasn't even been a test, not even transferring only a certain game mode into 128 tick to check things out.

2. Source 2:

The visuals of CS:GO might not matter to competitive players but it does matter for attracting new players. Ontop of that, shifting to Source 2 will make the game run much smoother and performance will even increase.

3. Fix VAC:

If you are Supreme - Global you must have had a numerous amount of hackers against you, with you, and even both lately. The number of cheaters in matchmaking right now is unbelievably terrible. Furthermore, it is way too easy for them to reach to the top without being caught.

4. Ranked seasons:

As of now, many people just play a game each month to keep their rank, matchmaking just isn't as satisfying once you reach global, besides the fact that a cheater could just ruin your day and it isn't worth it, if you're LEM+ you know how many cheaters there are there.

5. Balance weapons:

there are many people who post their ideas online and some give incredibly invaluable solutions, I believe the makers of the game need to get inspired by those people, as these are people who actually play the game, they know best what's best for them.

In contrary to above, people claim you can still make money from playing CS:GO competitively.
As someone who has played all different platforms including non-VALVe affiliates platforms I can certainly say that your investment in the game would be way bigger than your profit.

But in the end of the day, it's a video game and one of the best ones I have played.
