Took me 45 hours to finish one play-through, and 3 hours of that was for the last boss alone... but I have no regrets.

I never thought I'd ever get to finish this game - a lot of my friends had rage quit, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tilted, etc. etc. and told me it was a very hard game. I tried it for the LULZ for my stream (twitch tv dear_faye btw hihi) and ended up loving it so much after the game finally clicked for me at the Lady Butterfly fight (FIRST PHASE, NO DAMAGE!). I was never a parry kind of person, but wow! I never realized it could feel so satisfying! Every time I'd do a deflect or a mikiri, my brain would do a dopamine dance. It felt so good studying the bosses, and being able to go toe to toe with them. I'd never felt that kind of satisfaction before, and I'd played DS1 and Elden Ring.

45 hours, one play-through, and I want MORE.

It's definitely not for everybody, but it was THE GAME for me. It's gone from my most dreaded to my most favorite FromSoftware title.
