best game i've ever played

Haven't played since I finished my first full playthrough of the game. Lost interest after about 2 hrs. Bethesda can't write a good story and the animatronic janky npcs that want to talk to you for hours just kills it for me.

terrible game

Got the game for free with the purchase of my Ryzen 7 7800x3d. Game crashes constantly due to not being optimized for AMD graphics drivers, despite being a game promoted by amd. Other than those issues the game is super bland. It feels like a gears of war game but is just straight up boring. I could probably boot up the first gears of war game from 2006 and have more fun. The combat feels janky, weird controls, melee combat feels like it was implemented just to have a reason to put DOOM executions in - which is just you watching a 2 second cutscene to get armor. Not that the armor would matter, 3 tiny dudes you WON'T see until they hit you from a mile away will take care of that armor you just got. Weapons don't have enough ammo because the game wants you to use the melee which again is janky.

As far as the story goes, 5 hours in, couldn't tell you a thing. Plot seems to be everywhere. Don't know anything about the 40k universe, maybe thats a prerequisite for appreciating this story, I don't know. I played Vermintide 2 and enjoyed that, if that counts for anything. Is that in the 40k universe canon? One last thing about the gameplay, theres many moments in the game where there are massive hordes of enemies and they are supposed to be these epic cool moments where you are shocked by the sheer numbers of enemies you'll have to face.... then you realize its just an illusion. Everytime theres more than like 20 dudes on the screen, they are always in areas you can't access, SUPER LAME. No clue as to why, maybe the engine can't actually having a large number of actual enemies? Strange because Vermintide 2 another warhammer game you can get surrounded by hundreds of enemies....

Anyway game is mid. Probably 5/10. Glad I got it for free.

Great game very addicting

The best Bethesda game to date. They took so many pieces of previous titles like Fallout and Elder Scrolls and combined them into one perfect puzzle. You could easily spend dozens of hours into any one aspect of the game from the outpost building or ship building or just flying around planet to planet doing quests, and not get bored. The quests are really good, I think Bethesda took a good look at the quests in previous games and realized they weren't great because these are actually fun and engaging. The voice acting is incredible. Its not even recognizable the level of quality if you've played fallout or elder scrolls.

I will definitely sink hundreds if not thousands of hours into this.

Very addictive, very fun.
