So it took some time to put down my thoughts on this game properly. I've played the game twice once at launch and I just wrapped up the second playthrough, both were 100% completion with all the endings.

At launch the game was a mess, but I lucked out with a good pc so was able to enjoy it for what it was with the believe of what could be. As there was a true once in a life experience hiding behind all the T poses and car crashes. Back then I already loved the game and saw it as one of my favorites ever but it was nothing to recommend at the time due to its rough shape (or shape at all if you were trying to play on last gen consoles). I can now wholeheartedly recommend this game. The characters, the story paths, the city, the fun builds it all just checks out and it all comes together as one of the most immersive experiences I've ever had. Just sitting down and looking at the city while listening to some music in game can just be so calming after a heartbreaking experience.

Phantom Liberty put things in a cinematic overdrive and lead to some choices where I still don't know what the right choice would have been. Normally that is something I'd heavily dislike but given how there are no real winners in Night City I'd say it fits very well and just gives me more time to think about it all.

Conclusion would be a very strong recommendation for a game that had an abysmal launch, but got fixed up to where it should be. The game still has bugs but none are game breaking from my experience and even though I'm glad they fixed it up, it should have never released in the state that it did. Also to truly understand how beautiful the game is you'd need a fairly beefy pc where the true potential only unlocks with path tracing enabled. Now all there is to do is wait for a follow up, and in a few years time another full completion.

Simple dopamine rush that just does everything right, well worth the price :)

Old school RTS that gives me the settlers 2 vibe with bits of banished. Didn't have a single bug or crash.

Now to wait for more content, if the campaign and mp is gonna be just like this I can highly recommend this game. For now if you just want a play test and a relaxing game get it. But don't expect an in depth game just yet.
