I expected this to be an idle game, which to me means things are going on and progressing just by setting it up and letting the game run in the background. However, it is not that. You have to actively move the boat, select a place to fish, select bobber and pole, manually cast, and manually reel in fish.

Cozy? Sure. Fishing game? Yes. Idle game? No.

That said, it's cute and inoffensive enough. Just I was really hoping for it to be a set it and watch it play out on a second monitor while I work kind of game, not one I have to interact with the whole time. Give me a way of playing that way and it is a day 1 purchase for me.

Lots of pixel perfect jumping / very tight timings that just isn't hitting that flow state for me that this kind of game should be, just feels a bit clunky in the way you lose momentum at times. Not for me.

Not a Soulslike at all. Dull graphics, mostly gray (don't believe me watch the trailer and look at all the screesnhots), minimal character customization, feels like a PS2 game in good and bad ways. Wanted to love it, but just couldn't get into it. Feels dated from the jump.

A little too basic for me. A lot of the time you're just kind of not moving or barely moving, and there isn't enough defined goals to keep me wanting to play.

Maybe more for idle game players than it is for Survivors-likes or Bullet Heavens fants.

This game is to Sekiro what Hollow Knight is to Dark Souls.

Easily one of the best Metroidvanias. Dare I say better than Hollow Knight.

Game of the year 2024, easily.

The most Timesplitters ass game I've played since Timesplitters 2.

Easily one of the better rougelite FPS games that sits alongside Robo Quest and I'd argue above Gunfire Reborn. The only thing it lacks that those games have is multiplayer.

Feels like a nice blend of Destiny 2 or Borderlands gunplay, with a Mega Man-esque soundtrack and world, and a bit of the recent Doom game's finisher system.

Really great graphics, runs great, always frantic but manageable, can save during runs, and can upgrade guns so you're never forced to switch off one once you find it in a run. Lots of secrets, unlockables, and reasons to keep playing.

9/10. Wish it had multiplayer, and voice acting, otherwise no complaints.

Early Access Review
Conker's Bad Fur Day but you're a little (sometimes) French girl with guns, and there is co-op.

Didn't even last as long as a Rental, man!

Did a blasphemy, had a good time for free dollars and no cents.

If you love trance music, Tim Burton, Dali and feel like taking psychedelics and/or edibles and have like an hour to kill, you'll probably enjoy this. It's short and simple, mostly you walk around hunting for sounds, while vibing to the music.

It is a very small experience more so than a game. Reminds me a lot of early VR tech demos that were a bite sized proof of concept. There are worse things on Steam, but you can nearly get the whole experience from the Steam store page via the trailer and screenshots.
