Probably the best expansion that has been made since Forsaken. Everything they did with this was just amazing. To see what happened with Lightfall after this is just sad.

fun game, like battlefield but not as sweaty

To be honest, mixed feelings about the game. I have fun, but dislike so much about what they have done with it.

Lightfall was probably one of the biggest letdowns even over shadowkeep for me. Everything about THIS expansion, was just worse than Witch Queen, which was easily an 8/10. Coming from that and Season of the Seraph, to THIS, is just, jarring? What happened, bungie?

To start off, what is the deal with the campaign? Nothing is ever explained in any regard. We are chasing after "The Veil", but yet, we don't even know WHAT the veil is. We are expected to care about this thing that we are fighting for, just because it can "cause an apocalyptic event". Which, granted, did make me feel as though I need to find it before my enemies. However, just at that LAST moment. It comes down to us needing to shoot our ghost in order to stop this thing that we don't even know about from linking with the traveler. only for Nimbus to just fly in and grab our ghost AFTER it had linked. Bungie, what the ♥♥♥♥? Really...? And this so called "horrible event" that we were supposed to see was just the witness drawing a funny little triangle on the traveler and opening a door to a different universe or something. And so, after all of that, you return to zavala and ikora at the tower, for them to say that the traveler is "gone"? Bungie, it's not gone. It is literally RIGHT there. Why should I give a damn about anything that just happened if I STILL HAVE MY POWERS?! Literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ghaul was a bigger threat than this, or at least that's how it appears.

Also, what is the deal with the cloudstriders? Why are they so cringey with such marvel dialogue. Coming from the last few seasons to THIS? This is a joke. I can't even believe I am going to say this, but, bungie. Can you not read the room OF YOUR OWN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME?

Now I am going to strand. Where the hell does strand even stand? Who is the subclass for? What is it's purpose? The way I see it, its just a worse stasis. The only REAL redeeming quality to it is the grapple. But, guess what, because you decide that in the campaign, to have every other ability charge normally EXCEPT the grapple, I was led to believe that as long as you hit the ground after grappling, you would get a REALLY low cooldown on it. WHICH IS FUN. That was the one of the reasons that I and many others were actually wanting to USE strand for. The adclear is subpar, some stuff feels clunky despite being a "flow" subclass.

Overall, this was just a disappointment of an expansion. And quite honestly, this has altered the way I view this game. To quote Tyler1 -"But I can't quit, because I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ADDICTED". I won't be quitting destiny because I can't. But I will never preorder an expansion again in my life. because for once, I wish I had never spent the 100 dollars on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC.

You can do better, Bungie.

Standard silver bundle. get this if you hate your life and surrender your will to bungie.

Pacify so far has shown to be a great game in the survival horror game genre. The atmosphere can honestly be terrifying.

I originally played DEVOUR, which is a game that is basically what this does, but worse. When my friend introduced me to Pacify, I was honestly blown away by how much of an upgrade it was. And the fact this game has, at the time of writing this, 18.8k very positive reviews is crazy to me.
