A nice global government simulation that is highly replayable.

Great story line - must play several times to find all the different storylines which makes for some good replay value.

The addition in this second installment of the voices in the calls helped it to become more immersive and the addition of the 'Influencer' tool added a great new dimension!

I've been through it twice so personally witnessed two of the endings and it was very good.

Does what it says on the tin. Never thought I'd spent hours power washing a playground but here we are!

Delivers on it's promises, graphics are good and the campaign is interesting.

I've been trying to get back in to the campaign recently but there just seems too many game-breaking bugs to make it playable.

For example:
- Accidently connecting two power generators together - lose all power. Dismantle one of them, still no power. Says it cannot operate while two generators are connected. Returning it to how it was when it was working makes no difference - removing all power cables that were added and the power generator.
- 4th campaign mission - go with the 'plans' suggested by the doctor - cells are built (without items - no issue) - add beds, toilets and still... the cells are never used. Holding cells end up with everyone in it - riot ensues. If I build the block manually - all works fine.
- Start prison education programs - all required buildings and prerequisites met but then no way to schedule them.

It's a shame, because the campaign seems interesting - but one mistake and it feels like you're forced to restart the level. Quite disappointing as I never really remember these issues when I first bought the game...

Ahhh, this takes me back to my childhood! Sure the UI is dated but the fact the 2009 update gets it working on Windows 11 is remarkable so kudos to the devs!

It's a little bit dated now, but just as fun as I remember it! Highly recommended for a cheap price :).

Counter Terrorist Agency has a lot of potential but... there are some key issues:

- What's with the save system? Everytime I save the game it can take me back literally game years! I've replayed the same thing so many times now it's quite frustrating. I'm always returned to the same point... There's no notification or way of seeing what has been saved - and it's definitely not where you're up to. It reminds me of the old Tomb Raider 'save crystal' saga - although at least you were saved in your current position with that one.

- Freezes - time continues but 'hacking...', 'tapping...' gets stuck on the screen and your cannot progress any further. If you return to your save game, it resets you back because it doesn't actually save your progress.

The above two issues make the game pretty much unplayable, but there's more:

- Tooltips - why aren't there any? It's hard to get used to the interface without any help.
- Tutorials - there needs to be a more extensive tutorial system as it feels like you're guessing when you come across new things.

- Voices and pictures don't seem to go well together during intercepted calls - feels 'random'. Indeed when you replay the same messages are different people.

- Updates - are any being worked on? At least patches for some of the critical bugs above would be good!

Positives:

- If you like simulations as much as I do - you'll probably find this quite enjoyable for a while.

- Concept is fantastic

- Missions make you think

- Graphics are pretty good

Cheap and cheerful. Great concept. The camera controls take some getting used to as does detecting the crimes but once you get into the swing of things it's quite fun.

It can be a little repetitive. It could do with a tutorial (even a video) showing the different types of crimes and expectations. For example, I recently found the 'wanted' people in the camera menu - am I supposed to be keeping an eye out for these.

It passes a little bit of time.

Wasn't really sure what to expect and we usually find the fun of idle games to be leaving them to it in the background (on mobile) after doing a few things.

This idle game is different, but it is short and sweet so overall I think it's fine. I was a little bored but I was expecting it to be never ending, so knowing that wasn't the case it was a positive way to spend 10 minutes or so on a Saturday night.
