Why haven't I recommended this yet? The asthetic is awesome. I love 50s culture and music. The freeroam is also great, and BADGE BADGE I WANT MY BADGE

HEY HEY
YOU YOU
YOU SHOULD GET THIS GAME, YEAH

Sandbox racers are kind of rare, and Burnout Paradise is arguably the best one out there. It's pretty interesting in that you're not given much context when you start: you just pick your car and DRIVE. But soon you're introduced to events and missions in the world that, when completed, level up your license. Completing enough missions and leveling high enough unlocks new cars. Some of these cars can only be obtained by wrecking them in the open world. It's my favorite mechanic in the game, but it could be handled better. You can only wreck cars recieved from missions, but there are still a million NPC cars on the roads that have their own physics from the wreckable cars, like NOT BEING ABLE TO WRECK THEM. It's weird. The system would be improved upon if almost every car in the world was a unique, racing, destructable vehicle, and crashing them resulted in recieving the car.

Take yourself down to Paradise City and pick this up.

Can more people just play this already? It's a sci-fi multiplayer FPS with progression not only outside of the game with a character level system, but also in the matches as you gain money from kills and captures with which you can purchase upgrades and turrets and all that ♥♥♥♥ ALSO JETPACKS. it's a fun game, but the online community is seriously a wasteland. You can play with bots, but it just doesn't feel the same. There's also a campaign, but it isn't anything special.
