A great follow up to the first game! Enjoyed every minute. Great throwback to old school adventure games with a great theme.

This is one of those games that you sit back and let the credits roll with the realization that it's completely changed the way you think about games, story-telling, and creative work. I don't know that I can ever appropriately describe my recommendation of this game, but for any who seek an adventurous spirit: Do not sleep on this game.

You can't use numpad to enter the codes but even despite that it's pretty fun

Phenomenal. Easily the best-in-class for VR. Brilliant Half-Life entry. Was a wild ride, can't wait for the next one, Valve!

In a few words, STRAFE is fantastic. It suffered a lot on launch from some misunderstanding of the game's purpose, but if you enjoy "rogue-lite" style games and some throwbacks to classic first-person shooters, STRAFE is a great example. The developers have continued to improve it ever since launch, and I'm excited to see what expansions or future games they might be planning.

It's not perfect, but I love it! If you enjoy Quake/Quake II and would enjoy that style of game with some basically procedurally generated levels, STRAFE is a good bet!

Spec Ops: The Line is an intruiging story built on a foundation of the portrayal of the terrors of war. This is all wrapped around a robust third person shooter. The gameplay and mechanics are nothing to phone home about, but their framing of a provocative cruelty-of-war setting along with a roller-coaster of a personal story keeps the game interesting. The game is short, and outside of replaying the game to experience the story after gaining the perspective from completing the first time, or minor collectables, won't bring you back much replayability. This isn't helped by the lack of a multiplayer community.

That being said, replayability is not this game's focus. Spec Ops: The Line will take you on a ride through the terrible and seemingly impossible choices in the moment of war and make you reflect on the choices for the future. Definitely a recommend if you're looking for a low-key enigmatic third person shooter.
