Really bad story writing, many topics that were discussed by the characters as if we were totally in the know were never elaborated or explored both before and during this expansion. It shows the writers, or whoever scrutinizes the scripts before launch, are clearly in the blind as to what is already in the game and what is not.

While Strand was a fun experience, the postgame usage with high cooldowns is a contrast from the campaign where they made it appear as if they can come off cooldown easily. The fact that the fragments were not all immediately available for unlocking was also a questionable decision by the developers

Neomuna was a fun exploration experience with interesting new gear, but is a slight letdown from the trailers and videos leading up to the expansions that gave the community the impression we would be given a extensive metropolitan instance where we could either fight on the ground or grapple around rooftops

Additionally, the new changes to the activities such as Strikes and Dares of Eternity is a really bad idea, and I dont understand why Bungie thinks raising the difficulty bar so much across all levels is an excellent idea in attracting players and giving them a better experience

Sure the experienced players might enjoy more challenges in their activities but new players would not understand even half the modifiers ongoing in their Vanguard playlist runs, and would just be wondering why they are dying so fast every single time. It also makes it more tedious to complete even a single activity with all the champions and high levelled mobs running around, which for the casual playerbase might mean they get even less levelling from their already limited playtime. This takes away the enjoyment of playing and turns the game into simply a sluggish grindfest for gear and level

There are some positives however, the seasonal activity is much more manageable compared to the previous season where players had to deal with enlessly spawning mobs with preset light level caps. Its story development also appears much better written.
