The roguelike part of the game gets in the way of the story and puzzle-solving part of the game.
It *will* make you feel frustrated, with how everything is so based on luck. And it's also *slow.*

EDIT: After playing for twenty hours more and getting to what is the "true" ending..
It's not worth it. It's really, really not worth it. Don't do it. Play Outer Wilds instead. That is a much more enjoyable and fun and mind-blowing experience. This doesn't cut it *close*.

it just reaches a point where progression becomes really slow late-game unless you do some high-level savescum strats, even with an autoclicker it gets slow when you go into the quadrillions of heavenly chips territory

Game is very fun with friends, and Sony went back on the PSN account linking thing, so all is well.

Also this didn't even affect modding despite being the main reason for Enigma DRM coming out, so.. what's the point?
