I played Antonio and the Mad Forest over and over because it's so satisfying when you get the right combination of weapon upgrades. Luck plays a factor on some runs. Can't wait to try out the other characters and stages.

I love the art style and music and hope for a Castlevania collab someday. It's obviously a homage to the series and an official collaboration would be epic.

Easy time waster and how it is pick and play is *chef's kiss*

This game is worth it even if it's just for the 1-time playthrough, because quite frankly that's all I can endure. Overall, Alice: Madness Returns almost made me give it a negative review because there are just some things about this game that are just not fun.

The Good:
- Beautiful art direction. It has a Tim Burton feel to it. Grotesque monsters, detailed environments - the game is just pretty to look at.
- Combat is pretty fun and simple. Hack n' slashy
- Controls are tight
- The music is eerie
- The story is morbid and interesting
- Xbox360 Controller compatible
- Alice's amazing hair physics

The Bad:
- The Lock-On system. The camera sometimes just goes out of wack and it's hard to see where and who is around you.
Also, targeting other enemies can be annoying. Tip: don't target ground enemeies unless they are the ONLY enemy left.
- Repetitive level design.
- I'd say this game is 70% platforming and pulling/pressing switches, 10% puzzles, and 20% Combat
- While the environments are often large, the game is pretty linear and some areas that appear to be a path are just invisible walls or bottomless pits.
-The game practically holds your hand with hints when you get the Shrink Sense ability.

The Ugly:
- People report of game-breaking bugs. I never encountered such a thing my entire playthrough, though. Just a heads-up. The game can be a little glitchy when changing areas and movement may stop when going up slopes but that's all I experienced.
- The chapters are LONG and felt more like a chore than anything else. Better quit when entering a new area to ensure you'll start from there or else you'll have to do everything all over again.
- Beware that if you initiate a cut-scene sequence like pulling a switch, and you didn't kill enemies nearby, you'll get attacked and take damage until the cutscene showing you what opened/appeared is over.

The game isn't terrible, but good enough if you're into platformers and puzzles. I enjoyed the creepy/disturbing atmosphere overall.
The Steam/PC version doesn't have achievements - this may turn off some players. I don't care for them so I won't knock it for that.

Although I grew up with both Sega and Nintendo consoles, I enjoyed Sega's offerings but it was never my favorite. That being said, I was skeptical to try it out because I was only familiar with a handful of characters. To my surprise, this game is surprisingly fun and rivals Mario Kart 8 (even though this game had been out for 2 years already). Having played both for a considerable amount of time, I find myself coming back to Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed much, much more.

Pros:
- Tracks are fun and interesting, themed after a character's world, complete with remixed music!
- Each lap a transformation to your vehicle happens - really mixes things up!
- Controls are nice and tight
- Sega nerds will love the homage this games has for past and present franchises.
- Weapons and items may seem generic, but work very well and keeps things pretty balanced.
- No trouble setting up 360 controller(s)

Cons:
- I found myself having trouble figuring out which way to go on some tracks. The environments are very detailed but I couldn't help but slam into some walls thinking that was the way to go >.<
- I feel like difficulties beyond Medium are extremely difficult and unforgiving. I usually just play Standard in games, but I found playing Easy to be the most enjoyable. Maybe it's because I'm not that good? I dunno.
- Item boxes are kind of small and are really easy to miss.
- 4 player split screen on a 48" TV can still be difficult to see what's going on.

I haven't played this online yet so I can't comment there. Overall, The game is worth it if you're looking for a kart racer that controls great, has a flavor of Diddy Kong Racing with the hovercraft and plane sections, and if you're a diehard Sega fan. Even if you're not too familiar with franchises other than Sonic, you should definitely give this game a try anyway. I really am hopeful for future installments of this game - it's really fun and actually made me question if I liked this or Mario Kart games better.

This game is frustratingly addicting. It really keeps you on edge with the mindset "one more time....one more time!" The object is to guide your little arrow that is stationary in the center of the screen from touching ANYTHING that moves towards the center of the screen, all while the stage spirals back and forth and the obstacles change patterns and colors. Can make some people dizzy with all the twisting and turning and colors changing. It's a great short game and the ultimate goal is to last as long as you can. There is an option to enable "Arcade mode" which after each turn allows you to type your name in and stuff. Great for tournaments and parties!

I really like the music, too. The style gives it an arcade feel, upbeat chiptune electronica music. The artist is Chipzel and the third stage music in the game, Hexagonest, is my favorite. That track is called Focus. Overall, it's a great simple game that puts your eyes to the test. Definitely worth it.
