tip: when your teammate is sneaking up on a sleeper with a melee weapon, shine your flashlight to make sure they have a clear line of sight!

Genuinely not as bad as people think. Launch day was rough, but it was to be expected with the direction the developers were going with a multiplayer fallout game on giant map.

The good: The survival gameplay is fun, there are plenty of exploring and quests. There are less bugs than on launch and the community is very nice, you will commonly find higher level players helping out lower level players. Daily operations are cool and you never really run out of things to do and it's a constant grind (which could be a good or bad thing).
The bad: The npcs are OK, it's about the same level of meh story and immersion as the previous fallout game. However, I feel little to no connection to any of the characters or "followers" in the game- even compared to 4. If Bethesda focused more on making the game's stories and characters more interesting/expanded on the lore, that would be great. And of course, bugs are not GONE- there are just less of them. It's to be expected with this series of games though.

Love the style and music choice. Gameplay is very Wangan Midnight-esque. Devs need to do some tuning with the opponent AI tho; once you start to pour small upgrades to your car or try a double-or-nothing, the opponent decides to stop sandbagging and pulls out the NOS and Two-step on you lol
