In ancient Greece, born and raised
In the cave is where I spent most of my days
Chained to a wall, just watching the fire's dance
Thinking shadows were reality, that was my stance

But then one day, something changed
A philosopher came and my life was rearranged
He showed me a world beyond my cave
Where truth and knowledge were what I craved

I saw the sun and the sky so blue
And realized everything I knew was untrue
I left the cave and saw the world in a new light
With philosophy as my guide, my mind took flight

Now I share the truth with those who are chained
Teaching them to see the world unchained
I spread the light of knowledge and insight
Guiding them towards truth, away from the night

So if you're stuck in a cave of ignorance and fear
Just remember, there's a world beyond what's near
Take the leap and seek the truth
