They should put an disclaimer about usage of AI for voiceover purposes on a store page to warn the potential buyers

Other than that, it's an overall improvement over the previous game. it's OK gameplay wise while memes are what this game is going for after all

Humor is not what i found entertaining and combat is quite dull, at least music is quite energetic

Game's performance may vary, for me game is not really smooth even if i lowered graphics to minimum but i use rather old machine

Bad Game. Good Story.

Practically no gameplay or replayability and nothing you do has any impact, most of the time you walk, look and talk to characters with simple minigames that seemingly only exist to give some semblance of interactivity to otherwise linear experience

Early Access Review
Love it

There is only a portion of it available during early access but what it has is so dense with content that it can offer tens of hours of gameplay already

Stealth, action, atmosphere and a total lack of HUD elements helps to immerse yourself into a harsh and unforgiving city of gloomwood

Game is difficult but is not unfair, even on a highest difficulty setting (which requires a limited consumable resource to save your game), all mistakes you make are your own fault and you learn from it

It gives you tools and offers you a wide array of options how to go about most situations, making every playthrough unique to how you want to play

Your player character is very vulnerable, making sneaking a preferable choice, but if you are well prepared, and can use environment to your advantage, you can fight through most, if not all, enemy encounters head on

Maps are created with care and detail, they look visually great and have a lot of sneaky paths with shortcuts that feel organically included

Physics, sounds and light all are convincingly integrated into gameplay mechanics, shadows let you hide from enemy sight, while sound created from physical objects can attract their attention

Remember doctor - darkness is your friend

Been waiting for this game for over a year and a half and it sure delivered

Post void but full game in retro cyberpunk anime style

Plays like a dream, easy to get into but hard to master

Great artstyle, smooth gameplay, 90's nostalgia

Protagonist is a coolest dude

It's very much one of my favourite roguelikes that came out this year, unforgiving difficulty and a lot of things to loot and shoot with extraction twist

It's great, gameplay loop is addictive, has good variety of enemies and weapons, good soundtrack and difficult enough to keep me engaged for hours while running smooth even on my PC

Augmentation system is varied enough to offer an unique build every run and offers some thinkering with your playstyle or adapting to new ones

Each of four shells has a main weapon with reloading but unlimited ammo and a swappable heavy weapon with limited ammo with two abilities, each of them are varied enough to offer a different style of gunplay and movement

Bosses are different and well thought-out enough to be interesting but it's only four of them in the whole game with remaining ones "mini-bosses" being a beefier, elite version of average enemies with some extra attacks, health bar and changed look

Heavy weapons while varied, there's 4 baselines ones with 3 elemental variants and 2 rarity perks for each, some feel better to use than others and most of the time the higher rarirty heavy weapon is better than normal or lower rarity due to having unique perks that improve their capabilities like no self damage or propelling yourself backwards

C-Ball mechanic in every room also spices things up with being a source of heavy weapon ammo, activators of specific augmentation bonuses or movement mechanic

A lot of funny references that don't look out of place in a context of a story and characters are unique in their own way with voice actors doing a good job bringing them to life

But unfortunately there's not enough variety between levels and rooms which every run ending up looking the same while running through rooms of each of four levels with little changes, despite each level having their own personality and backstory, looking unique from one another with their own set of enemies in each, every room ends up changing only in layout in comparison to a previous one

And after unlocking all upgrades there's not a lot of things to work towards except unlocking a main weapon skins for beating a run on highest difficulty and achievements

Overall it's an awesome game and i only wish there was more of it

Would recommend if you like roguelite elements of leveling yourself up between runs with currency accumulated through gameplay and fast paced first person shooter action

Short, the cutscenes in total are longer than gameplay, while the script is cringeworthy the animation and cinematic is actually very well put together

Has an issue of level design often not being clear as to where to go and constant jumps between levels and cutscenes can feel jarring

Pretty good soundtrack, not on the level of half life 2 but it didn't feel unfitting

Guns are nicely animated and arsenal is decent, unfortunately the game has tendency to take them all away from you on many points through the story and instead of swapping through each hotkey slot you have to enter the inventory and click to swap to another gun in the same slot, ruining the pace of gameplay
