a game that demands better hardware the further you get in it.
a game that no one has beaten.
a game that can suck me in for hours only to solve a single game of minesweeper.
a game that's secretly an idle game if you know how to play it right.
truly, there is nothing quite like bombe

I can't figure out who this game is for.

If you enjoy sokoban, most of the puzzles will be fairly easy. Then you'll run into a brick wall and start guessing wildly at what the game wants you to do to get any kind of resolution to the plot (or maybe even new puzzles?), and your only real option is to play through the same levels again, over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over. Any time you have a new idea about what to try, you have to start again from the beginning. And first you have to figure out how to start again from the beginning, or give up on that too and just play through to the end to erase your save. It becomes a very, very tedious grind.

And if you DON'T enjoy sokoban... then that part would be unbearable, surely?

I've flipped through a fan wiki briefly and I can't even figure out what the intended solve path is. Even the things that might function as hints are locked behind another layer of obscurity, sometimes more obtuse than the thing they're trying to hint at in the first place.

I don't get it. There's not even a clear indication that there's anything else to do, so you're also burning through time on a hope and a prayer. If you just take the game at face value, the story is that you enter a mysterious labyrinth to right a wrong, and then you don't. You don't do that. You wander around forever, accomplishing nothing. Roll credits.
