Early Access Review
Game is great. Bunch of boomers unable to understand it's POE 2 and not POE are the ones QQing over it being "too hard".

Just remember, it's EA and will get a lot better over time.

Hot garbage still, and the devs aren't even talking about patching the major issues this game has. Sad that something of this quality was ever released.

Gameplay and Mechanics: 2.5/5
"Rumble Club" offers a unique premise with its fighting-centric gameplay, yet it falls short in terms of variety and strategic depth. The mechanics are simple—punching is enjoyable at first but rapidly becomes monotonous with limited abilities such as jumping or running that could have introduced more dynamic combat situations. The game heavily leans on straightforward confrontations, missing out on potentially richer gameplay experiences.

Despite the inclusion of items that players can pick up during fights, this feature alone doesn't quite fill the gap in gameplay depth. While these items add a layer of strategy, their impact feels superficial and ultimately leaves me wanting more. This element, although potentially exciting, doesn’t substantially enhance the overall mechanics, making the gameplay feel somewhat incomplete.

Map Design: 3/5
The design of the maps in "Rumble Club" is inconsistent, impacting the overall experience negatively. Some maps are too expansive, diluting the action, while others are frustratingly cramped, particularly the one filled with bushes which makes re-spawns feel particularly chaotic and unfair. This lack of balance in map sizes and design elements like cover or strategic points reduces the enjoyment and strategic play.

Content and Features: 1/5
It seems "Rumble Club" prioritizes aesthetics and additional content like cosmetics and DLC over the core gameplay experience. While extra content can enhance a game, when the fundamental play feels lacking, no amount of additional skins or scenarios can compensate. The game would benefit significantly from refining its base mechanics and perhaps diversifying the ways players can interact with the game and each other.

Engagement and Longevity: 2.5/5
Initially, "Rumble Club" captures interest with its quirky concept and vibrant visuals. However, the lack of gameplay variety and depth means that it quickly loses its appeal. The game does not offer much in terms of progression or challenges that evolve over time, making it hard to stay engaged for longer periods.

Overall Score: 2.5/5
Despite its promising concept and engaging start, "Rumble Club" unfortunately does not deliver a satisfying gaming experience. The focus on superficial features rather than solid, enjoyable gameplay mechanics makes it a game that might capture your attention briefly but won't hold it for long.

The truth is, I just don't see myself ever wanting to load up the game again. Even when considering "Rumble Club" as a party game, it falls short. My friends and I would likely opt for other games instead. This lack of replay appeal significantly impacts its standing as a worthwhile investment for both solo and group entertainment.

Starfield: A Boundless Odyssey Beyond the Stars

In Starfield, Limitations are Only Bound by Your Imagination

In a gaming landscape where recycled ideas often take center stage, Starfield emerges as a dazzling bastion of originality and freedom. Dismissing this game as merely a "space simulator" would be akin to calling the Sistine Chapel a "nice ceiling." Starfield is an open-world RPG that takes the best elements of terrestrial role-playing and propels them into the cosmos. In doing so, it fulfills the developers' audacious pledge: "In Starfield, you can do anything."

Separating the Stars from the Noise
The world of online reviews can sometimes be a vacuum, sucking in all the negativity and concentrating it. Common complaints about Starfield seem to coalesce around a few points:
  1. The perceived inadequacy of stories and dialog.
  2. The presence of bugs.
  3. A lack of in-depth ship navigation and planetary flight.
While valid in their own right, these criticisms seem to eclipse the game's overwhelming accomplishments.

Charting a Course Through Limitless Possibilities
  1. Unshackled Freedom: Starfield is a sprawling sandbox of endless possibilities. Want to be the dread of the seven galaxies as a notorious space pirate? You can. Aspire to climb the corporate ladder until you're sitting on a throne of star credits? That path is yours to tread. Craving the responsibility and grandeur of constructing a star base? The stars are your canvas.

  2. Ship Builder Extraordinaire: Forget the stale spaceship designs you've seen in other games. Starfield allows you to build and customize your vessel in extraordinary detail. From the propulsion systems to the cockpit's layout, every element can be tweaked to perfection, resulting in a spaceship that's uniquely yours.

  3. Grand Narratives Across Factions: Far from the criticisms levied at the game's storytelling, I find the faction narratives to be nothing short of epic. Each has its own complex lore, intricate relationships, and pressing dilemmas that make you invest emotionally in your chosen path.

  4. A Finale Worth the Journey: Without venturing into spoiler territory, let me just say that the ending not only brings a satisfying conclusion to your odyssey but also leaves room for imagination and speculation.

Setting the Stage for the Future
What we have in Starfield is not just a game but the laying down of an interstellar gauntlet—a rich, robust universe that promises to be the launching pad for future titles and modifications. Given that this is a brand-new intellectual property, what's already on display is nothing short of remarkable.

If you're seeking an expansive, immersive experience that lets you live out your wildest space-faring fantasies, Starfield is your game. It doesn't merely offer a universe; it gives you the tools and freedom to redefine it.

Pretty obvious they didn't play test some of the missions, such as the command missions. Feels pretty great to be killed when you blow up a building and it randomly spawns 2 infantry men whom both instantly shoot your commando and you die. ZZZ

This is the 2nd refund I've made in 14 years and nearly 500 games owned.

MAYBE this game will be great... MAYBE. In the current state it is 100% broken. UI didn't load for me nor did any of the fixes posted below work.
