Pretty Decent game so far, only reached zone 3 so far!

So this is more or less a Taste of what we can expect in the full on Project Borealis!

this is literally a tech demo that showcases small things like:
- a few weapons + Gravity gun
- Zombies and headcrabs
- movement
- physics
- gunplay
- Small part of Ravenholm in a different setting
in other words its pretty short as a tech demo usually is.

how did i feel like it? well for what this demo gave me it felt pretty good and pretty faithful to the source engine style of gameplay.

HOWEVER... the performance on my end was horrid with a rtx 3070 i got 30 fps on 1440p resolution + i had to run in window since i use a 4k screen and i could not change resolution in the game

but i do hope When Project Borealis finally sees a release day that it will be worth the wait ^^

not only does this scratch the itch for a oldschool shooter that feels like it is from the Doom/Quake/Duke Nukem era, but the first of 3 chapters gave me 18+ hours of fun(BloodNSweat) gameplay! the amounts of well hidden secrets, large maps and most of all the references GOOD JOB!!! this is how you make a game!

it is challenging yet not too brutal, does not babysit you troughout the game ( you actually gotta go around and look with your own eyes ). and wow the ai is better than alot of recent AAA Titles, the amount of times i had one enemy just sneak behind me by walking a different way.. i like that!

i cannot wait for the next 2 chapters even tough they are going to be smaller than the main campaign i bet it will give us plenty of stuff to do!

probably one of the first games that have put me in a true warzone and i love it! 10/10

but please the performance could really use a nice touch other than that its a pretty fair and well made game

this is such a golden game to play with your friends, be prepared to be scared or laugh your guts out in this looter game i'm not even gonna go in details but get this game if you haven't already!

wow a game with more than 8 hours of gametime!

seriously this game is really good if you look away from some of the performance issues this game have. it truly is a fantastic experience to have a open world game set in the wizarding world and would like more of these games!

there is an absurd amount of stuff you can that you can find and secrets to solve!

10/10 would avada kedavra again

pretty nice game with a hint of challenge. be prepared to build up and protect what you've built and reach to become a strong warrior!

also... watch out for trees... they have a tendency to kill you...

Beginning of a great story and friendship. play it seriously!
