everytime i go "wow what a great way to end the game" boom new secret boss with 500000 hour long dungeon and new pokemons i can collect and match together NO MORE CONTENT PLEASE

if you came from yakuza 0 and expect an experience similar to it in any fashion leave while you still have the chance

don't buy it if youre not a fan of the characters themselves as it is a hot mess otherwise. combat while enjoyable from time to time has the weirdest features to it, hyperarmor on homeless people 0 damage early game and your combat progression being tied to majima everywhere will make you feel a type of disappointment never before seen. sidestories are either cheesy or just downright bad (omg a male crossdressing? must fight them NOW!) and random ass dude tries to swindle you no55

but if you love nishikiyama kiryu majima and want to stick around despite these glaring flaws go for it, just dont buy the game unless its on a discount

after finishing the game ive realized that the problem wasn't the combat itself but the implementation of said combat when it came to boss fights, jingu is the prime example. if they JUST made the other two goons not have hyper armor it wouldve been fine and in comparison the final fight is just too easy.

oh and the story was decent for a game made in 2005 just delete most of the substories and its alright still dont buy it unless its on a discount

id love to recommend this game to others but as it stands i cannot. how can a company of this size can ♥♥♥♥ up optimization to the point where people who have decent builds cannot get a stable 80 to 100 fps on medium settings. capcom should be ashamed of themselves for creating games that cannot portray the beauty they possess because of poor optimization and pushing unnecessary anti-piracy systems like denovo and bottlenecking not only our computers but our experience as participants of this video game


10/10 don't buy it until the game is optimized, same goes for any other title produced by capcom in the same manner (dragon's dogma2)

playing this game feels like taking a ♥♥♥♥ and being forced to wipe your ass for the rest of the day
