The gameplay itself is expected for any short indie horror game but the unexpected was the engaging narrative. Repent slowly feed you the story at a good pace with good closure for its ending while making you brown your socks. The tasks might seem repetitive at first, but they were a good distraction at the beginning of every day while trying to push back the eminent dread i suffered since i really don't do well with horror games. Also taking the trash out probably ended being meaningful, Industrial Trash Bin MVP all i got to say .

I'll give it a 7.5/10

Its a 8/10 game or a 7/10 if you don't think combat is decent.
(140hs for full game and unique places exploration and quest, difficulty: hard)

The main story starts slow and boring but actually gets better.
The side quests and main side quests are good.
The companion quest were mixed some really good to some really boring and short.
The combat is ok, but i personally didn't enjoy ship combat.
The crafting system might be tedious specially outpost management, but gun upgrades are worth it.
The art and ambiance are really good, unique places and npcs do look good (not the random city npcs or random science outpost).
Ship building was sort of fun, but perk restrictions are lame.

I experienced only 4 bugs, 2 big ones where related to npcs becoming hostile but fixed by hiding and waiting. Then some items image not loading on menus, fixed by reentering the menu. And the most annoying not able to interact with crafting stations, fix by quick saving and quick loading.

Whats was actually bad and garbage, temple quests, around 20 of the same quest, exact same "puzzle", plainly just lazy development and tedious. Outpost and level/perk restriction are annoying and time consuming. There is almost to no actual exploration or space travelling, this is not No Man Sky just know this when jumping into the game.

The rest of the game is good but its understandable that some people made the wrong assumption when getting the game.
I would say that NG+ might be more enjoyable than the first run since you already start with some or most of the annoying perks unlocked.
