This story hit me hard, as someone who also suffers through mental illness and grief. This is so well-written, the gameplay is easy to understand and adapt to, and the environments are very well-constructed. The sound design is phenomenal, further driving home the emotions the character is feeling.

So much to do, so little time! This game is everything I want in a cozy game.

Early Access Review
Pros:
Nice loop
Easily learnable mechanics and recipes
Cute artstyle
Upgradable house and shop

Cons:
Fishing too RNG (maybe add bait for specific fish?)
No armor or other weapons besides the initial one

That's all I've got from the little amount of time I was able to play it. I would love some kind of house/shop sign decorating system! The pets and clothes are also adorable.

FOR PART 1: Beautiful surroundings. The world feels organic and the NPCs respond like they (well, humans) should. The choices aren't too obvious (good vs bad); a lot of them are entirely up to a whim. It does a good job of keeping you heading toward your objective while at the same time encouraging you to explore the world around you (via photos and friend interactions.) The highlight/select system is a little clunky, but that's a small blemish on what otherwise is a good game. The next part can't come out fast enough!

Will update review as parts come out.
