It's a casino like all these "f2p" games. Fake artificial match making just look it up its real and has been real since lol. Every skin that isnt tied to a event is some cheap chinese ♥♥♥♥ that im so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over seeing. The game play isnt even rewarding anymore with how dumb the healer ults are where they just shut down the entire game while their ults are up for one team. Trash balance too.

Really bad UI. Lag just in the main menus and then the game crashed on me. James need to actually do some quality control on it's IP and stop pooping out these trash cash grab mobile games.

It took some work to get this game to run properly because it had a hard time detecting my setup for some reason. After I got to actually play the game it is pretty fun. Some glaring concerns though.

- No quidditch because WB made it a standalone game to buy.
- No actual schedule or need to sleep or eat so the dorms and main dining hall are never used in game and you can leave hogwarts for days with no penalties.
- NPC's will just stay in one place all day and night waiting for you to talk to them.
- House points mean nothing in this game.
- voice bugs if you change the pitch of the MC that has been known since release
- One of the Raven Claw companions quest line was completely scrapped and that's the house I was put in.

So what I am getting at is that the whole aspect of being a student at Hogwarts is completely glossed over and the game is just ran as any other open world fantasy adventure game and that honestly kind of sucks. Very clear content cutting and no dlc being planned since they are already making the 2nd game.

This is not a deal breaker however because the game is honestly charming. The combat feel very good too me and flying on a broom is great. It had the potential to be a ground breaking game that could of been game of the century but what was released is only game of the month. Still if you can buy this on sale like I did for 15 dollars and skip the crap dlc that honestly is a joke and should of just been bundled in it, you can really have a good time. Oh and the modding community seems to be pretty active at fixing some gripes I have with the game so that is a plus but I never include mods in my original assessment of a game.

It is a fun and charming little game. Just the right amount of progression and challenge but still maintains the cozy laid back feel.

The single payer is pretty great. Unfortunately it took a hit with leaving some really key moments being sent to the coop operations instead of having it just be apart of the story. The online side of this game is very buggy. You will very rarely be able to find a full 3 man squad for operations because they put 3 filters to find a full squad. They have 4 difficulties, a limit on classes, and a mandatory 3rd party program that is not advertised to enable cross play. So this leaves you with one ai team member the majority of the time and the ai allies in this game are some of the worst I ever seen, no way to issue them commands at all. On top of that the servers or matchmaking seems to be not working properly either. The pvp is actually full of hackers shooting you in spawn through walls, how in the world this even happens in 2024 I have no idea and on top of that since they did a early release for premo buyers you got players at max level stacking on one team vs level 1 players. Now this should not have been a problem if the progress system was like the operations where the weapons are all unlocked from the start and allows you to upgrade them over time but nope you only have one load out in pvp and have to unlock new weapons.

The interface is really dated if you use a controller they force sticky menus that slow your cursor down by 50%, you have to hold down the input button to interact with anything in game even on the ship (this needs to die in a fire already in all games), No FOV slider and lack of ultra wide options. It is getting old that they release games for pc but don't give us proper options half of this could be fixed with toggles and I know that isn't a hard thing to do for a game with a season pass tacked to it at launch.

I'll change my review later if they fix the glaring issues with the game because I want to like it but I just can't recommend buying this game at the moment. If they have a version for sale of this game up in the 90 us dollar range it should have been perfect or near perfect. Oh and only 6 or 8 operations is no where near enough content to keep players active. Oh and the tyranid roster is lacking really badly considering they have a huge range of new bugs in 2024 and it shows that this game was made 10 years ago then shelved because it's only the oldest most standard tyranids in use.

It is a f2p gacha that has a single player mode. You don't need to spend any money to play the story mode and for that I give the game a thumbs up. Everything else is kind of secondary to me and the game even has a decent 2% for legendary hero's. The pity system carries over to other banners too.

After many hours with this game both modded and un-modded I have come to the conclusion that 5 is just better. The diplomacy in this feels very bad. Many ways to cheese the game that has been in since day one. Some civ's are just objectively bad when all of them should have their own unique but effective play style. I really didn't like the art direction and while it has grown on me a bit I still prefer the less cartoonish look. The dlc's are very hit or miss with some feeling like they should have been in the base game honestly. I hope they go more in the direction that 5 was in when they release 7 and get the diplomacy in these games to feel semi real.

After playing the game to completion and seeing how many people were involved in making the game I change my recommendation. Yes I still feel like the combat is the weakest part of the game and yes there was still crashing and other jank. Even with those problems I see what they were trying to make here and it is one of the best rpgs ever even with the resources they had. I modded out the stuff I didn't like such as the saving and master strikes and this made the game so much better.

*old review that I still feel should be up here*Could of been a great game but is held back by euro jank. The combat is horrible and is the main focus of the game and other bull shart mechanics hold it back. realism is held back by dated tropes such as teleporting guards that know 100% if you have a looted items 3 towns over. horrible objective markers and random ambushes 24/7 that honestly you can just just run from on your horse. I really don't understand that these people dont understand that when you bod down the gameplay with ♥♥♥♥ mechanics it ruins their games but here we are again even after it took witcher 3 games to make it even decent.
