A Final Fantasy That Will Stay With Me Forever

As a longtime Final Fantasy fan, FFXVI is an experience I won’t forget. From its raw, emotional storytelling to its phenomenal soundtrack, every moment feels epic and deeply personal.

One of the biggest highlights is Clive—an absolutely incredible protagonist. His journey is intense, heartbreaking, and inspiring, and watching him grow throughout the game kept me fully invested. He’s easily one of the best male leads in the series, and his supporting cast only makes the story even stronger. Every character, from Cid to Jill to Dion, adds weight to the narrative, making their triumphs and tragedies feel real.

The battle system is another standout. It’s fast, fluid, and deeply satisfying, blending cinematic spectacle with strategic depth. The Eikon battles are jaw-dropping set pieces, and the combat never stops feeling rewarding.

While FFXVI received some criticism for performance issues on PC, I’ve found that it runs surprisingly well. Even with the high graphical demands, the optimization is solid, and it’s clear the developers put in the effort to make this version shine. If you have a capable rig, you’ll be treated to one of the most visually stunning Final Fantasy games to date.

Beyond all of this, what truly sets FFXVI apart is its emotional weight. The soundtrack amplifies every moment, from quiet, intimate scenes to grand, climactic battles. The story hits hard, leaving a lasting impact long after the credits roll.

This is a Final Fantasy that dares to evolve while still staying true to what makes the series special. If you love Final Fantasy, this one is a must-play.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is the perfect blend of cute, cozy, and fun! This game has quickly become one of my favorite go-to ways to relax and unwind, and I can’t recommend it enough. The world is full of adorable characters, and it’s the kind of game you can get lost in for hours without feeling overwhelmed.

One of the best things about Hello Kitty Island Adventure is how easy it is to jump into, especially when playing with friends. The online multiplayer is smooth, and it’s a blast to hang out with friends while exploring the island, completing quests, and customizing your little corner of the world. Whether you're decorating your home, fishing by the beach, or helping out the cute villagers, there's always something fun to do.

There’s also so much content to explore, from seasonal events to daily tasks, making it the kind of game you’ll want to keep coming back to. The developers are incredibly dedicated, constantly rolling out new in-game events, limited-time items, and updates that keep the experience feeling fresh and exciting. It’s clear they put a lot of love into the game, and that commitment to keeping things fun and engaging really shows.

And let’s not forget the adorable villagers! They each have their own personalities and quirks, making it a joy to interact with them. The art style is irresistibly charming, and the colorful, relaxing atmosphere is perfect for players looking to escape into a world of cuteness and creativity.

If you’re a fan of laid-back, cozy games that you can enjoy at your own pace—whether alone or with friends—Hello Kitty Island Adventure is an absolute must-play. It's filled with heartwarming moments, tons of customization, and just the right amount of charm to keep you coming back time and time again.

As someone who backed Coral Island on Kickstarter, I’ve been eagerly awaiting its full release. The concept of a beautiful, tropical farming sim with an emphasis on sustainability and community really captured my attention. When the game finally launched in 1.0, I was excited to dive in—but I have to admit, I was a bit let down by the fact that the story wasn’t fully completed at launch. I had hoped for a more polished experience, especially considering the years of anticipation.

That being said, after a few updates and a bit of waiting, Coral Island has really come into its own. The developers have been attentive, consistently releasing updates that have improved gameplay, fixed bugs, and added more content, including completing the story. The world feels vibrant and alive, and the focus on environmental sustainability gives it a unique charm compared to other farming sims.

One of the standout features is the diversity of the characters. The game does a fantastic job of representing different races, body sizes, and sexual orientations, which makes the island feel more inclusive and welcoming. The characters feel real and relatable, and it’s refreshing to see such thoughtful representation in a game.

The farming and social mechanics are well-crafted, and the island's characters are full of personality, making the interactions enjoyable. The attention to detail in the setting—lush landscapes, dynamic weather, and a lovely soundtrack—adds to the immersive experience.

While the initial release felt incomplete, I’m glad I stuck with it. Now, with a more developed story and the addition of features I was hoping for, Coral Island is where it should be. It’s clear that the developers are passionate about the game, and I’m excited to see where they take it next.

If you’re into farming sims and are looking for a game that balances farming with meaningful environmental themes and diverse characters, Coral Island is definitely worth checking out now.

I’ve invested an impressive 666 hours into Disney Dreamlight Valley, and I can confidently say that it’s been an enjoyable experience overall, but there are a few mixed feelings as well. The game’s charm, creativity, and the endless possibilities of designing your own magical world make it an engaging and fun escape. Whether you’re a fan of Disney or just love life-simulation games, there’s something here for everyone.

One of the standout features for me has been the addition of Dreamsnaps. This new feature is a game-changer, allowing players to earn in-game currency through completing creative tasks. It really helps cut down on the amount of real money you need to spend on microtransactions. This is a fantastic step forward in making the game more accessible for players who want to enjoy all the game has to offer without constantly reaching for their wallets. Kudos to the developers for introducing that!

However, despite these improvements, I have to admit I was disappointed when the game’s original promise to eventually become free-to-play got dropped in favor of a full-fledged microtransaction system. While I understand that free-to-play can be difficult to execute, I still wish the game had stuck with that vision. It feels a little frustrating knowing that, instead of becoming truly accessible for all players, there’s a heavier reliance on in-game purchases now.

Overall, Disney Dreamlight Valley remains a fun and immersive game, but I can’t help but feel like it could have been even more player-friendly if the monetization model had been handled differently. Still, I’ll likely continue my journey, especially with the Dreamsnaps feature, and I hope the developers continue to evolve the game in ways that benefit the community.

idk why everyone else is downvoting to performance issues because I played the entire demo with no issues, albeit I went into settings and did mess with some of the stuff like capping my fps to 60, no issues at all and cant wait to play the game when it comes out.

Cute and Cozy

I don't normally write reviews of games but I will say that Fields of Mistria was my highly anticipated game of august.
It's so comfy, cozy and I love the anime-ish graphics it has. Some of the QoL features that fields of Mistria has to offer are the following.

• Fishing is instant with a bite
• The town quests don't have a timer so you're not rushing to finish them in 2-3 days
• Clothing presets
• No waiting for a new tool when you upgrade, you forge the items yourself and the upgrade is instant.
• Every friday all the townies are gathered at the inn giving you a good chance to turn in multiple quests as well as talk to your favorite townies and increase friendship.
• Saturday market no explanation needed here
• I love the "talent" point system so you can improve all your skills in different ways
• the ability to visit shops anytime of day, no matter the day or if there is a person behind the counter.
• The museum but also if you have donated an item and hover over it you have the ability to see wether or not you have donated the item to the museum
• hats for cows and chickens is amazing
• You can open your inventory and customize your character whenever you want to.
• If it's someones birthday, holiday, friday inn or saturday market on the day you wake up its displayed under the actual date so you don't have to look at the calendar daily to be reminded.
• being able to use items in my chest anywhere on my farm to craft has been a god send
• Watering cans don't need to be refilled
• Npcs are visible on the map so no need to google where they are at what time of day.

Now the game is in early access and I have dealt with a small amount of bugs but the dev team has been ontop of patching these out. I was experiencing issues with the music echoing when first launched but that seems to be patched, I am on the third part of the mine and sometimes the mobs do disappear but I am sure that will be patched out later.
At the time of writing this review I have 24 hours and I can guarantee I will probably double that by next week. The game is fun, interactive, cozy and cute. Definitely give it a try, there's a reason people are raving about it :)

Changing my review back to positive because as of midnight playstation revoked requiring PSN to play the game, however stealing this comment from twitter.

"While this is a victory for the players you've left a lasting stain on your brand as a publisher. Many people have very little reason to trust Sony going forward.

Moving the business before you understand the playerbase is never the right choice."

Love the game but forcing PSN on your users is a big nono in my book
PSN gets breached more than anything and for some people it is region locked and leaves them open for being banned.
dead game.

I had this game sitting in my library for a minute but decided to go through it in one sitting.
I wish I could erase my memory and play through it again like it was the first time. I really enjoy movies/games that leave you a sobbing pile of mess in the end and this one did not disappoint.
If you have 3-4 hours to spare, sit down alone, quiet, comfy and give this game a chance - but don't forget the tissues.

Played this game for 3 hours, I think at 60USD it's very overpriced.
I came into it expecting a farm sim type game with combat
There are hardly any interactions in town with any of the NPCS, there are a ton of unskippable cutscenes and not alot of stuff to do throughout your game day.
The lack of combat animations was sad coming from a square enix game. No ability to block or dodge?
Stamina use on run that you also share with tending to your crops, mining etc.
Reading other comments I saw you can't even customize more later in the game, no more hair or clothes options.
For a square enix game I had alot of high hopes for this, especially with a hefty price tag of 60$ and I was let down for sure.
I ended up refunding it because it did not fit a game I'd want to keep for the price it was set at.
