This sequel brings more of a story element to the game and is more than just a dry set of puzzles. It's a good deal more funny dramatic and interesting, definitely worth more than one playthrough.

Very silly and entertaining, your classic action hero with awful one-liners and ludicrous gameplay. Runs with proton after a couple of hacks.

One of the best simulations around, and answers the question if it were me, how would *I* do it?

I played this with an xbox360 controller in single-player on the Linux Proton platform, and I saw none of the bugs that appear to plague the Windows version. It carries on the atmosphere of the original Bioshock, perhaps a little more forgiving an experience. If Bioshock is about the contradictions in Randian libertarianism, then Bioshock 2 covers those in the pseudo-socialist Family which cloaks its eugenics program in Social Darwinist demagogy, pitched as the answer to the failure of Ryan's program with Lamb's own pitch to the have-nots of Rapture's dystopian society. But that's all backdrop to an entertaining FPS that's fairly light on collectables and more focused on strategy and combat. A good many of the new plasmids aren't worth upgrading as they take up too much Eve, and tonics do a better job of giving you the edge. A lot of fun and worth replaying.

A worthy successor to Pillars of Eternity, with an interesting story, challenging quests and a beautiful archepelago backdrop. If you love character min/maxing, this is the RPG for you!

Of the three Witcher games so far, this one is in playing terms, much more about the story than the mechanics. It feels like a sandbox game, but your actions do have consequences. It plays like a casual shooter, but there's a lot of customization if that's your thing. Veterans of earlier Witchers might complain about the simpler mechanics; I always felt they got in the way particularly in the early stages where you're going to grind more for experience, loot and combat skills. The later expansions add some welcome opportunities for upgrades, my only gripe is that they limit available combinations.

Overall, it's the game to measure up to and will be hard to beat for a long time.

"It's more than just a Harvest clone, it's a friend" Stardew valley has simple mechanics and several layers of gameplay that will suit anyone's palette. It's a farming simulator, adventure game, love story, and collectable trophy hunt all in one. You can't go wrong with this game, perfect for a rainy day indoors.

This is a fun, traditional RPG with the conceit of a table top D&D player group. It has a nice retro graphics feel, and a great sense of humour. Very playable, even to grind. Well worth a go.

Civ 5 is maximum Civ. More playable, more configurable, just more! Get the expansions, though.

A diabolical, deceptive game that will drive you mad. Not recommended for call centre workers if you abhor KPI's or anyone with a human heart. The sort of game you'd expect Australian politicians to play.
