Another competitive game with a failed matchmaking system. Avoid if you don't want to waste your hours daily to just grind slowly.

It is an entertaining hack-and-slash game with a mix of strengths and a few frustrating weaknesses.

Pros:
+The characters are truly amazing. Cutscenes and dialogues add a lot of charm to the overall experience.
+The soundtrack is phenomenal packed with tracks that perfectly match the action based gameplay.
+It runs well on the Steam Deck. Although the battery life is limited to about 2.5 to 3.5 hours, the game feels smooth and satisfying
+Its straightforward gameplay makes it easy to complete without committing too much time.

Cons:
-The parrying mechanic, which the combat system heavily rellies on, feels outdated and poorly implemented. The timing for counterattacks is frustratingly inconsistent, making the system more of a chore than a challenge.
-Boss fights are fail until you get lucky instead of requiring skill.
-The non-parryable yellow attacks disrupt the flow of combat because the game doesn't have proper dodge mechanic. These moments tend to overshadow the fun of the gameplay.

Final notes:
This is an enjoyable hack-and-slash game for casual players who don't stress about beating it on the hardest available difficulty. Otherwise, those aiming for a more skill-based experience may find the frustrating combat to outweigh the enjoyable parts.

Probably the best characters in a single video game series.

The game is great, and I am eagerly looking forward to future content. They've created another addictive gameplay loop. However, the lack of detail in the art and drawing sections bothered me a bit. I anticipate at least another year of development. In a Q&A event with the developers, they mentioned that the ending of the game hasn't been fully decided yet. It would have been better if it had launched with more content, but it's clear that the full release will be the indie game of the year when it comes out.

Puzzle are the only thing good about this game. Gameplay is frustrating and not fun.

Many publishers would sell this, instead they are offering it for free.
