I haven't played much but im putting this out there
this game has potential BUT it is extremely buggy but don't let this deter you its EARLY ACCESS and has very frequent updates to fix these issues. Also most of the negative reviews are things you can solve by just READING WHAT YOU ARE BUYING.
There is NO PVE ONLY MODE THAT SAVES LOOT (some people think that)
To access your starting loot go to the TRADE room and click on the items on the tablet
