Do I recommend this game? Absolutely no. Here is why:

Basically this is a an open world MMO with constant PvP. Instead of leveling up your character you kill NPCs or mutants and loot them so you get better gun, armor etc. to strengthen your character. While you are doing this, game will put you in same servers with people who has much stronger equipment than you. Because there is no matchmaking.(Developers say there is a matchmaking but simply it doesn't work. They also said it is too hard for them to fix it.)

It is pay to win and it is getting worse at it with every season.

Any kind of scamming other players is legal. You can do anything you want and there is no punishment for it.

Even though there is a RU server %80 of playerbase in EU server are russians that only speaks russian and plays with 200 ping on VPN which favors them. So good luck finding a clan to do clan wars which is the only end game content you can do.

There is literally no content to do. You can only do "clan wars" for 30min-1hour daily which are basically nonsense. Because there are 5-6 top clans in the game and they are full of cheaters. They even have alt clans, when they are not playing in their clan they just switch accounts with people in the alt clans so they just give them free wins (which is against ToS but EXBO doesn't want to ban them probably because they are afraid of losing players). So they are just farming others. (Fun fact: the leader of the clan with highest rating right now is banned from cheating himself in RU server and currently every month at least 2-3 members of his clan getting banned from cheating.)

There is no balancing at all. Devs are not playing the game themselves and they are just saying that they are buffing/nerfing stuff based on general statistics(you can guess how it ends up).

Getting any highest tier armor or weapon requires an item called Anomalous Serum and you need 65 of them. If you login daily and do every single one of your daily and weekly quests you can only get 16 of them per week. So good luck catching up to others that playing for years now. Also that gun or armor you got after waiting for weeks gonna be nerfed to ground right after you get it so be ready for that too.

If you encounter any problem that ruins your experience do NOT expect any kind of support. Noone will answer your tickets especially if you make them in English.

One of the worst servers for an FPS game in the industry. If you are not okay with 2+ seconds desync stay away from this game.

Market is infested by shameless resellers and noone cares about it. People playing for years has hundreds of millions rubles (currency in game) they are just buying everything for "GOOD PRICE" and selling them almost 2x price of it. (Fun fact: richest player in the game is a known RMT'er and yes he is not getting banned.)

I can make this this longer and longer but I am pretty sure even half of these are enough to understand how trashy this game is.

Most of the people are quitting right now and the ones that don't quit are the ones that playing for some time now and they just don't want to lose their progression.

Last fun fact: official channel of EXBO(the company behind the game) recently got banned on twitch while streaming a Q&A because of lack of moderation of chat. So don't expect any professionalism.

Masterpiece.

It is a game about being a pirate. Does it make you feel like a pirate while playing? Absolutely.

The game that proved gameplay is more important than the graphics.

I gotta tell you something. It was perfect. Perfect. Everything. Down to the last minute details.

The feeling of a being a "ghost" in those beautifully created maps with lots of specialization choices for both weapons and character appearance was the thing that made me fell in love with Wildlands.

Unique and amazing story progression system, not that stupid AI teammates, plenty stuff to do in the map and many more things you can enjoy.

Beautiful world of Bolivia, the atmosphere, weather effects etc. literally everything is an artwork masterpiece in this game.

So I recommend it if you are looking for some polished, semi-realistic military action.
