Bannerlord forum is an echo chamber, If it isn't their view they will ban you.

They have a couple undercover mods on there too, If you don't believe me go make an alt and argue with "Ruffio" you will get banned. That guy can say anything and never gets banned but if you quote him when he's breaking ToS you will get hit.

If you look at half the comments on their DLC announcement it's level 0 accounts & private, Never seen any of them comment on the forums before this either. It's 100% paid hype / reviewing, Wouldn't be shocked if it was their employees.

Paradox Interactive is just as bad but that's a whole diff story.

I wouldn't say that it is dying tho. At worst, it's able to sustain itself on the utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of Bannerlord's multiplayer. Even if people are frustrated with Chiv2 being abandoned, what's most likely gonna happen is that a person will say that they'll quit Chiv2, buy Bannerlord when it's on sale, hop on a Team Deathmatch server, die to the game's horrendous balancing, submit a refund request, and continue playing Chiv2

the mods are really weird on there. they hid my post when i suggested the game was dying

My ban was caused by me suggesting that a future Chivalry game should do a collab with the Mount&Blade series, since TaleWorlds is transitioning towards a singleplayer-only experience.

While corporations can be unscrupulous — why would they intentionally leave Geralt in a bad position? People are gonna buy Haomaru anyways because of curiosity, they think he's a cool character, to see and counter is movement, and/or because they already have the season pass why would they leave one character bad to sell a new one. Maybe I'm just not in Soul Calibur communities all that much, I mostly browse r/SoulCalibur, but who's out here defending Geralt being bad? Maybe people are defending Bandai Namcos right to sell DLCs, but I think that's more because of desperation for the Soul Calibur franchise to continue rather than anything else.

I guess that makes sense, though I haven't played much mitsurugi. That is disappointing to know since geralts fighting style is cool and mixes well with alot of character creations. Maybe I'll play mitsu later.
