Older game at this point but still as fun as ever, with a good amount of mods if vanilla gets boring.

Early Access Review
Pretty fun, especially the multiplayer. Be a viking, build stuff, kill stuff, discover new lands to build and kill more stuff, as vikings do.

Basically, Code Vein is anime af Dark Souls, which you can choose to play like a souls-game, harder solo-mode, or in easy-mode with your overpowered NPC partner destroying everything.

Personally, I see no fault in playing with the NPC partner enabled, since the beautiful visuals, great soundtrack and especially the story are certainly strong enough a reason to play the game even if you're not maso enough for a souls-like. However, if you do decide to solo run the game, you can definitely add to the experience with the extra challenge.

That said, it is still in no way Souls levels of difficult, and if you're not into very anime-inspired stuff, the game might not be for you.

Oh, and the character customization? It's amazing. You can waste so much time just with that.

TL;DR: Anime Souls with great story and optional EZ-mode.

You can play as a robotic ninja from space killing all kinds of things. It's pretty neat. Also free.

In short, MHW is a game about using all kinds of cool weaponry to hunt down giant monsters alongside your trusty (although sometimes a bit derpy) feline partner. It's a more casual version of the earlier games in the franchise, and just casual enough for a scrub like me. I feel like the game's still not too easy and if you want a challenge from it, it can offer that too.

The game's definitely more fun with friends, like most games with multiplayer capability, but the many hours I've dropped into it just playing solo prove it's clearly not too shabby of an experience alone either.

TL;DR: Giant monsters. Cute cats. Plenty fun, alone or not.

A lot of fun with a potential for hours and hours of gameplay and a nice story.

You can waste hours just grinding your item and character levels, creating new characters or reincarnating old ones with better stats. If you like turn-based SRPGs, this game will definitely grant you a lot of enjoyment and something to do!

Or you can not grind and just play it for the main story if that's more your bread and butter. It's still a great game even if you only play it for the story!

The game's nice and looks really good. Some stuff is better than in NV, but they removed a lot of good things too. Oh, and physics are still tied to framerate. Overall it's pretty fun though. I like it.

Umm... Yea... About this game. The gameplay is like running a tube with no options at all. The selection of weapons available is really small. The story was dry as was the overall gameplay. You couldn't even utilize your suit as you did with Crysis the first! I do NOT recommed this to anyone.

I recommend this if you like first person shooters and big open worlds. Well... Even if you wouldn't, I recommend it anyway. Awesome game, I loved.
