Alien: Isolation has, for sure, delivered some of the coolest and scariest experiences I've had in gaming.
It is both terrifying and so much fun to play especially if you love the movies Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986).
The developers have done extremely well with the worldbuilding (making the game look like you are seeing the technology of the future through the lens of the 1980s), the levels, intense and scary gameplay, claustrophobic spaces and of course... the Alien. A perfect specimen indeed.

I was surprised to find out I haven't written a review yet. Until now that is!
This game deserves praise and I am more than happy to give it by writing a positive review.

I have played for 14 hours and I can say with confidence that Jedi: Survivor has become one of my most favorite of Star Wars games. It improves upon a lot of the features and mechanics its predecessor (Fallen Order) introduced. You now have more abilities you can choose from, new stances with the option to dual wield lightsabers (something Fallen Order only allowed as a special move when using the double bladed lightsaber), new planets and environments to explore, old and new characters to meet and more!

I haven't had severe issues in terms of performance meaning no crashes but I still experienced the ocassional framedrop or stuttering. I have heard from and seen others play this game that were less fortunate. I do hope a fix is presented soon so all may enjoy this game. For this reason I will encourage players to wait until these issues are solved before buying this game.

The developers of Battle Cry of Freedom managed to retain the nostalgic feeling of Mount & Blade: Napoleonic Wars whilst improving the former both in graphics and scale as well as giving the player the ability to customize their own unit/character.

This is an impressive and great step up compared to their previous title, now focusing on the American Civil War era. Keeping in mind the genre that is already saturated by a lot of similar games like Holdfast, War of Rights,... I do highly recommend checking out the game as I believe the asking price is more than reasonable for what the game offers.

The melee gameplay, as it was (and still is) for many a player an important part of these types of games, can be compared to Mount & Blade: Napoleonic Wars close combat though it feels slightly slower (this due to the animations). I must add that the melee as well as the optimization of BCoF is something that is being worked upon and both are in constant improvement with frequent game updates. All in all a pretty good deal can be made here!

Note: I received several beta keys (being that I was YouTuber and officer of a regiment) as I was very interested in the project and the developers were kind enough to include me in the testing.

I can't believe I haven't done a Steam review of this game yet.

Easily one of my favourite Total Wars.
Love the nations, the time period, the musket warfare along with the uniforms and especially the modding community.
I highly recommend this game for its singleplayer campaign. The map covers Europe, Middle-East, India, Northern-Africa and the Americas. Multiplayer wise you can challenge your friends in land, naval or siege battles.

Will you be able to defeat all your enemies?

Early Access Review
Adorable looking third-person battle-simulator!
It has a lot of potential in terms of more missions and features.
I personally am enjoying it immensely.

Keep in mind that the game is currently in Early Access!
This means it's not the full game yet so please do keep that in mind when buying the game!

Now go and lead Caesar's armies!

I have been waiting a very long time for a good sequel to Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2. I can say that Planet Zoo is that sequel and more!
Visually the game looks stunning and refreshing. I can definitely see the impact Zoo Tycoon had on this game because I feel both the nostalgia vibes of the older games when playing Planet Zoo but I can also sense the 'new'.

You can do a lot more now in terms of being creative and managing your zoo.
From fully customisable habitats to the facilities your guests use.
The amount of detail this game provides (both visually but also gameplay wise) is amazing.
Zoopedia provides a nice way of sharing information on every animal, biome,...

I can finally (re)build a zoo exactly how I want it to be and not just a sheer knock off :P

I rate the game 8/10. Micromanagement is a challenge at times (keeping everyone happy).
The (creating) path-system could improve as well but these are details.

Note: I've only played this game for a few hours.

I am truly amazed by the level of detail this game offers.
Not to mention the satisfying lightsaber combat which makes you feel like you're a real Jedi.

The story is really interesting and build upon the saga and movies we've all come to love (except the "Last Jedi" one. Not gonna delve deeper in that one).

Gameplay wise it makes use of mechanics used in other popular genres.
At times I had Uncharted & Tomb Raider vibes whilst playing (which isen't bad imo as it makes for variety).
The visual effects are stunning even when you put it on the lowest setting for those like me with a potato as pc.

Definitely worth checking out!

If you happen to be interested in the Napoleonic Wars AND in games...Seek no further!
Napoleon: Total War is the game you definitely need to play! That and in my humble opinion; the dlc for Mount & Blade.

Step into Napoleon his shoes and rule Europe with a iron fist or play as one of his adversaries and try to defeat the French Empire!
The singleplayer campaign allows you to replay some of the bloodiest and biggest battles the European continent saw.
You can also play skirmish battles with your friends and other people online to see who's the greatest tactician.

Mods like Napoleonic: Total War 3 keep everything fresh and introduce new nations and units to the field of battle.

Should this game be on sale and/or you have the chance and money to buy it, it is definitely worth it!

What can I say? I am really starting to like this game.

The bonus points definitely go to the melee combat which is so satisfying!
The additional techniques like the mordhau and half-sword make it unique compared to any other medieval games.

As a Mount & Blade gamer and YouTuber, I have seen games struggle in finding the correct gameplay for melee combat in order to beat the latter and come out on top and I do believe Mordhau gets really close to perfection.

From start to finish Mordhau manages to immerse the player into a visually stunning world with intense multiplayer medieval battles. I'll say it here, I definitely recommend playing it with friends as it is all the more fun! Good game!

This game is absolutely stunning!
The moment I started up my game I felt like I was in another world.

I'm now 3 hours into it and I am in love. The environment, the setting, the characters make the world come alive.
The night and day cycle adds so many more options for the player in terms of making paintings, finishing quests and so on.
You have to fulfill certain quests in order to 'unlock' more of the world you're in but it feels very natural and not forced.
The open world factor comes into play nicely and I imagine there's tons of more stuff to explore.

9/10 score for me as I don't think there is such a thing as 'a perfect game'.
