The nostalgia kicks hard and takes me back to the time when I first played Pokemon on my gameboy

makes more fun than I've thought

I’ve played every Dragon Age game so far, so I’m familiar with all the lore, it’s characters and what this game series is all about. You can check this out on my steam profile. I’m also a big fan of the LGBTQ+ Community and all their flaws. We never talk about including everyone, but it’s a fact that we want everybody as a part of our movement. I’m glad that Bioware has returned to its form and presented the entire modern situation in a fantasy game set in the Middle Ages. So, after getting this straight let’s get it started.

After my download was finished, I was happy because I could immediately dive into the game without having to compile the shaders or getting asked about linking my EA account. The Character editor is clear but offers just a few options. As a trans person I’m shocked about the missing opportunity of customizable top surgery scars, however at least its possible to present my Character with big cleavage and juicy gluteus maximus. Overall, the settings are so extensive that it’s quite easy to create a natural beauty, which can be seen here .

The Adventure starts without any conflict, so it’s simple to follow the story. I also like the way how you skip cutscenes. Normally you skip the whole scene and had no clue afterwards what happened, but not in this game. You must spam the skip button multiple times, which makes so much fun. Every action scene or talking person needs its own skip. So, if you like to train hitting the space bar, it’s the best solution without getting bored. But to be honest, who skips this masterpiece of storytelling, right?

Anyway, the important entrance of the main character, me, was well scripted as well. We dealt out some hits, had a funny conversation and left a tavern with a few people standing in front of it. To my surprise, there were hardly any diverse people represented there. Middle Age without representing minorities is a big red flag for me. We have 2024, so how is this even possible? At least I could explore and was able to talk with all citizens without getting interrupted every few meters by a cutscene. It really felt like I’m a part of this scenario. Later on, I came to a dramatic situation between life and death. Someone has to die and trust me, the writers made an awesome decision here. Instead of killing the villain simple and quick with an arrow, they decided to make it cooler. And what could be better than big Statues falling like domino? Beautiful in any aspect and so smart, what could get wrong. Enough spoiler.

Gameplay is very complex and hard to master, but worth it. There is no automatic climbing or balancing. No one takes your hand and guides you through the world of the Veilguard, no, you must explore everything by your own!
Some people are talking about crashes, yes, I had also one, but that wasn’t a big deal for me, cause as I already mentioned there is no waiting time for loading shaders.

I’m going to continue playing this work of art now and won't request a refund for it!

If there is a game that can cause cancer, it's definitely this one.

so far so good but please let me skip the cutscenes and mid fight animations when I encounter a boss. They look good, not gonna lie but it's so annoying to see them million times again!
