This is an absolute masterpiece. It is, bar none, the best game I have played since Baldur's Gate 3. It maintains its quality all the way throughout and is a master class in character and story writing.

This game will create some of the most entertaining, natural, and hilarious moments with you and your friends. It's supports modding, user created submarines, and has a strong playerbase.

10/10, would clown again

Expensive, and many of the tests come in DLC now, but it's a great suite of tools for checking the performance of your hardware, and the stability of your overclocks.

This is a game where all the trailers are accurate and completely truthful. Absolute masterpiece of a game.

Squad has been an amazing game to me for a long time, but the CEO was replaced with one that specializes exclusively in mobile game MTX cash grabs, and now Squad is getting MTX cash grabs. I've seen this tale play out many times in other games, and I can't imagine going forwards the game will keep the same spirit of realism it has and instead add things like tracked stats, gun skins, paid factions, and other similar things.

I understand the need for a studio to get income to continue development, especially after so many years of the game being out, but this is not the way to do it.

So far at least, OWI has been very light handed with the emote additions, and most importantly they're a studio not afriad to change things up.

They have just released the biggest update in a long time, completely overhauling the infantry combat system well into the games lifespan, proving they're definitely prioritizing the games health. Keep it up, OWI.

It's pretty good, all things considered. Though they make the occasional misstep, the developers really care about the community and the game and provide lots of content. The game has a relatively active modding scene, and a really strong foundation in its gameplay and visuals.


Review as of Dec 28, 2021 - Not Recommended

I can't recommend this game anymore. The developers have monetized the game to hell and back, and have long since stopped caring about the community, especially modders.

The game used to have a very strong core gameplay loop where you had to be particular about your team compositions, weapon choices, and teamwork, but they've long since run over the game with a bland white paintroller and now every perk and weapon is almost as good as every other perk and weapon, making everything the same.

It's a once great game that has, very sadly, fallen from grace.
