Too much like Skyrim, Far Cry etc. Nothings happening on the map and enemy spawning is still broken. If you get hit just press medkit button and you're good. Only drops from human enemies I've seen is just medkits, bandages and bullets. Maybe even food if you're lucky, while the mutants don't drop anything. They're just there to eat your bullets. Enemies sometimes spawn in areas only after you go indoors for 20 seconds and go back outside.
every encounter/mission is scripted like in Bethesda titles and not like in other Stalker games.
There is not even in-game top stalkers list or anything like that, PDA is just reduced to a Ubisoft game map/journal. A-life is barely in the game, original trilogy just had far better sandbox, immersion and gameplay. This has potential but it is a disappointment in its current state. I hope that I can change this review into a positive ASAP because I love stalker.

Ran ok before but became unplayable after PC upgrade. Good game though

It is very very good but while playing a siege battle, If I destroy a wall, I get huge lag spikes, this literally makes the game unplayable for 20-ish seconds despite many attempts to relieve it with modding etc. It is engine related and there is no way to fix it. feel free to recommend any fixes but I doubt there is any. It is a shame because the game itself is amazing, but has these annoying hiccups on some machines

Get Rome 1/Medieval 2 instead
